STOP WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME!

Theres never a ‘right time’ to start.

Theres always going to be another social event coming up, a night out, a holiday, a leaving do.

You’ll always have a reason to put it off.

There’s always a next Monday.

The best time to start, was 5 years ago.

The next best time, is right now.

Start, take the first step and work around whatever you have coming up.

Because there’s always going to be something else.

Start now, start today.

Go do the first gym session, go run your first 1km, make better choices with your food, drink more water, or even just get to bed an hour earlier.

Pick one, then add another and another.

But start today!

Prioritising your goals without sacrificing your work or lifestyle.

‘I don’t have time to exercise or eat better.’

How many times have you heard that or even said it yourself?

I understand that.

Mainly because everybody thinks you have to spend hours in the gym every week and have to meal prep in the kitchen cooking chicken rice and broccoli to lose weight.

Want to know the reality of it?

You really don’t need to do any of that.

What you do need is-

✅ An efficient training program which allows you to do what’s necessary, focus on the compound movements get stronger and in time create more demand for energy.

✅ Education on nutrition to be able to understand energy balance, calories in v calories out, and how to utilise this to your advantage so you can even enjoy the foods you love and even the odd social event 🍺.

✅ Shown how to time manage to make sure your training and nutrition fit around your current life/work balance so there’s no added stress. And to even enjoy exercise (it is possible trust me).

Scale weight, the things you need to consider before you lose your 💩 about what you see, up or down.

Time of day.

Have you eaten?

Been to the toilet?

What are you wearing?

Where are you in your menstrual cycle?

Did you drink alcohol yesterday?

Are you dehydrated?

Stressed?

Sleeping poorly?

Travelled?

Same or different scales?

Same surface the scales are on?

Eaten more volume of food the pervious day compared to before?

Drank more water?

The list goes on.

Make as much of the above as consistent as you can each weigh in and accept there’s many factors which will impact what you see on the scales.

Scale weight can be so unreliable as fat loss is only 1 out 100’s of reasons the scales will move.

Track using measurements and progress pictures and don’t obsess over scale weight.

“I hate what I see in the mirror”

“I hate shopping for bigger clothes”

“I get so out of breath going up the stairs”

“I don’t know where to start”

“I get so anxious going to the gym alone”

Reasons people say they’d love to start on their goals, and also why they never do.

But then say ‘I can’t afford a coach.’

Now, I get it, the cost of living has increased, people don’t have the same disposable income they used to.

But. They still don’t cut back on the things that are making them feel that way in the first place.

They still eat takeaways, drink bottles of wine, £4 coffees every day, watch Netflix, £7 meal deals for lunch and the list goes on.

But a gym membership and a coach is way too much.

If you add up what you spend on everything you’re doing to create a health, body and lifestyle you hate.

It’s probably allot more expensive than what you’d pay for one you love.

‘Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity’

So why keep doing the same thing and making excuses?

If there’s something you really want to do, and you have a goal you really want to achieve.
You’ll find a way to make it work.

ACCOUNTABILITY > MOTIVATION & DISCIPLINE

Motivation fades.
Discipline can burn out.
But accountability? That keeps showing up.

You won’t always feel like training.
You won’t always want to prep your meals.
You won’t always have the perfect mindset.
But if someone’s watching, you show up.

There’s 3 levels of accountability.

🔁 Self-accountability- setting standards and holding yourself to them (easier said than done).

👥 Peer accountability– having a partner, friend, or community check in on you.

📈 Coach accountability– someone who keeps you focused, on track, and calls you out when you slip.

Here’s the truth:
The most successful clients aren’t the most motivated.
They’re the most accountable.

Do the hard sh*t 🫡.

If you want an easy life do the hard things.
If you want a hard life do the easy things.

If every day you do the tasks that you don’t want to do, cardio, steps, train, or even every day things, washings, shopping, working extra hours.

Then it makes tomorrow easier, and the next day, and the next because you’re always working towards your goals and progressing.

But if you’re putting things off, watching Netflix, scrolling TikTok, ordering takeaways, letting washings pile up.
You’re only delaying your progress in anything you want to achieve.

Do the hard s**t first, get up early and get your training, steps in or cardio for the day.

Plan your meals.

Allow yourself to have time for netflix, or TikTok or whatever you do as downtime.

But don’t let a 30minute chill out turn into 5 hours on the couch. And only after you’ve done the hard 💩.
