Just a wee update on my personal journey.

I still have quite a wee bit to go and it has taken quite a while to get to this, a lot of hard work and a lot of soul searching, super chuffed that I have reached this.

My name is Fiona and I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2015 at the age of 30.

I didn't know what this meant, how it would affect my life and also my family and friends.

I had no idea where to seek information or advice.

I am currently studying HNC Business Admin and this page and associated website has been developed as part of this course. All follows, likes and interactions would be very much appreciated and would assist in me successfully completing this part of my course.

Unlike type 1, type 2 can be reversed without the use of medication.  Type 2 can be reversed with a low carb/low sugar diet and a healthy lifestyle.  One good way to keep fit is plain and simply walking.
