We are deeply saddened to share the passing of David Moffat, who died peacefully on 18th April 2026, aged 74. David will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
A service and committal will take place at Bishopbriggs Crematorium on Thursday 7th May 2026 at 3:30pm, followed by a warm invitation to join the family at Kirkintilloch Miners Social Club to continue celebrating David’s life. Family flowers only, please, with no donations.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynne Grieve, who died on 19th April 2026, and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, fondly remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her.

Lynne’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 6th May at 10:30am at Clydebank Crematorium, where all are welcome to attend to pay their respects and celebrate her life.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Aloysius McCann, who passed peacefully at Langlands at QEUH on 24th April 2026, aged 86.

Loving husband of Jane, beloved father of Simon, Jonathan, Dominic and Lucy, and a much-loved grandfather of Tom, Isobel, Eva, James, Oliver, Zoě and Marlow.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Monday 11th May
Requiem Mass at St Andrews RC Church, Bearsden at 10:00am.
Thereafter to Bishopbriggs Crematorium at 11:30am.

All family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Maureen passed peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

She will be forever missed and loved by all of her family and by all that had ever known Maureen.

Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 29th April at Clydebank Crematorium 3:30pm, thereafter joining the family at Sixty Ate Bar on Dumbarton Road.

In lieu of flowers there will be donations on the day of the funeral to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. You can also donate online in advance of the funeral by visiting the Jonathan Harvey, Bearsden funeral notices.
