Us mums work hard & often feel the strain in our backs from lifting, carrying & feeding our children. We could all do with regular massage treatments but just when & how do we fit it in to our busy schedules? Who will look after our wee ones, while we go for massage? Shouldn't we be spending our money on our children instead of ourselves? Mummy Massage Meetup has the answer to these questions! Thi
s concept (like all the best ideas) is a simple one - a group of 3+ mums with their children organise a play date at one of the mum's homes. The children will play while the mums have a coffee & a biscuit and, of course, a good catch up. I will come along with my massage chair or bed (depending on the space you have available) & give each of the lovely mummys a 30 minute back, neck, head & shoulder massage. Each mum will slip away quietly for their treatment, while the other mums keep an eye on their wee one for them. The massage can be done on a massage bed or a massage chair. The massage chair is great if you are short on space, as they're very compact. There's no need to remove your clothes, when using the chair, which means should you need to see to your child, while receiving your massage, you can easily attend to them, without having to worry about getting dressed first. Each 30 minute massage costs a very reasonable £18 for 4+ people. For 3 people the price is £20 each. Longer sessions are available on request. Mummy Massage Meetup can also come along to toddler groups and offer shorter massage sessions carried out on the massage chair. As well as massage meet ups we also cater for ladies nights, girls nights in and can offer individual massage treatments, again available on the massage bed or chair. Prices for private sessions are:
30 minutes - £25
45 minutes - £35
60 minutes - £40
75 minutes - £45
Treatments are available for both males and females. I can also provide full body pregnancy massages for mums-to-be. Treatment is available from 12 weeks. Massage has many benefits including:
Relieves tension and stiffness
Increases flexibility and joint motion
Improves posture
Stimulates the immune system
Promotes a restful sleep pattern
Lifts the mood
Calms the mind
Relaxes and rejuvenates the body
While all these things will help to leave you feeling great, after a massage, the rest of your family will also benefit from you being relaxed and de-ached. So what are you waiting for? Why not organise a Mummy Massage Meetup for you and your mummy friends? Everyone will thank you for it! I look forward to meeting you all and your little angels, in the near future. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, if you have any questions or would like to book a mummy massage meetup. All Glasgow areas are covered. About me:
My name is Leanne O'Donnell. I am a fully-qualified and insured massage therapist with over fifteen years experience. I have a daughter and a son and, since becoming a mother I have discovered how physically & mentally strenuous it can be, at times, and how little time mums have to spend on themselves. However, if anything, it's now more than ever that we need to look after ourselves, so that we can be at our best, when parenting. Massage is a great way to relax and unwind and even the shortest of treatments can have an amazing effect on the body and give you a fantastic boost. The few years, when you're picking your wee one up, swinging them around and whatnot will go by in a flash - it makes great sense to keep your muscles and joints in good shape, so you can enjoy those moments, while you can!
