I’ve been a little quieter on social media over the past week — it’s been a busy one balancing my other roles, along with plenty of rugby!

Sunday was especially busy, with three games across different locations. The P4s had some fantastic matches at GHK, and the U18 girls put in a really strong performance with a convincing win over Kilmarnock — some brilliant rugby on display all round.

The highlight of the day, though, was watching Adam and the U15 boys’ squad win the West League Final against Greenock, 38–19. It was a tense game right to the final whistle.

Huge congratulations to all the players and coaches — such a great achievement and a real team effort. Sharing some photos from the match - have to confess I didn’t take them! Some great action shots of Adam and his team mates. 💛💚❤️

✨ Continual Training & Patient Safety First ✨
Yesterday I completed advanced dermal filler training, which was the second of three full training days I’ve committed to in January to further build my skills and confidence with fillers.
This training was with Safer Aesthetics Training Scotland, who I specifically chose because of their strong focus on patient safety, anatomy, and delivering treatments to a very high standard. As a medical practitioner, this is absolutely non-negotiable for me.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be gradually introducing some new filler treatments into my practice as I continue to refine these techniques.

✨ IPL Treatment for Facial Thread Veins & Redness ✨
This client attended for IPL treatment to facial thread veins and background redness.
Although the veins weren’t very prominent to start with, there is a clear improvement in overall appearance of veins and skin clarity following treatment — a great example of how IPL can subtly but effectively even out skin tone.
You may notice that the after photo shows some redness. This is temporary and is due to the ice packs we use before and after treatment.
Cooling the skin:
Makes the treatment more comfortable
Protects the skin
Helps limit swelling, redness and potential skin damage
This settles quickly and is part of our careful, skin-first approach.

✨ Training day update ✨
I’ve spent today on an advanced training course focusing on marionette lines, cheek treatments, nasolabial folds and the piriform fossa, and I’ve absolutely loved it.
I’m really passionate about continuing to develop my skills and keeping my practice evidence-based and up to date, so I can offer treatments that give natural, balanced results for my patients. I’m very excited to be introducing some new treatment options to the clinic soon.

😲A huge thank you to you all. Those who donated, our stall holders, our staff, our volunteers and all of you for showing up in more ways than one. We are just blown away and couldn’t have achieved this without you all. It’s a massive community effort.

These funds will go towards ensuring every child will experience at least one free school trip, attend free fun school events like the epic P7 leavers dance and school discos and have essential equipment in every classroom and so much more.

This should be a really helpful option for young people who have already tried multiple over-the-counter or pharmacy treatments without success. Cryotherapy can be an effective next step when warts and verrucas are persistent or causing discomfort or distress.
