🔧 Part 1 - BMW Diagnostic Fault Finding 🔧

🔹This particular vehicle was making an unusual rattling noise along with irregular motion. Our initial fault finding process consists of a Vehicle Diagnostic Test. This test will report back codes for almost all of the major components of your vehicle including but not limited to, the engine, brakes, various sensors, transmission and exhaust system.

🔹This vehicle showed timing correlation faults on our diagnostic machine. On further inspection the timing chain guides had cracked which meant the chain was hitting off of metal studs. Due to this, debris had mixed into the oil causing contamination. This contaminated oil circulated into the engine and resulted in engine failure. Without regular vehicle servicing and maintenance your vehicle’s parts may become damaged and can result in malfunction. This vehicle’s plastic chain guides cracked initially because carbon build up had caused them to turn brittle and disintegrate. We cannot emphasise the importance of servicing your vehicle enough. This will allow your vehicle to operate at its optimum level.
