On this Father's Day, we hold in our hearts everyone who is remembering a much-missed father, or father figure 💙

Our Gardens of Remembrance remain open to all who seek a quiet space for reflection and remembrance. Whether you choose to visit, light a candle, or simply take a moment in your own way, we hope today brings comfort and cherished memories.

Update to anyone visiting our site today.

There are currently 4 way temporary traffic lights at the roundabout near the retail park, causing delays.

Please give yourself plenty of time if you are travelling to our site today.

This will be ongoing until 14th June.

There is still time to submit your photo's which will be part of our Father's Day Service this Saturday - you can email them over to bishopbriggs@westerleighgroup.co.uk

I'm honoured to have been asked to conduct a special Father's Day Memorial Service at Bishopbriggs Crematorium on Saturday, 14th June 2025, the day before Father's Day.

On the day, there is an open invitation to visit the site from 11am to spend time in the gardens, reflecting on and remembering your loved ones in a peaceful setting.

At 1pm, I’ll lead the Father’s Day Memorial Service.

Families are invited to submit a photo of their loved one by emailing bishopbriggs@westerleighgroup.co.uk by Friday, 6th June. The photos will be incorporated into a slideshow and played during a poignant moment of reflection at the service.

No advanced booking for the service is required, and refreshments will be available.

🚴‍♂️ On Friday 28th March, a dedicated team of five cyclists took part in a charity ride around SAIF Funeral Directors' premises in Glasgow, all in support of the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, in honor of SAIF independent funeral directors President Declan McGuire. The team’s journey started at our crematorium, with the group proudly stopping in front of the Chapel for a photo before setting off to Edinburgh.

This amazing initiative highlights the strength of the funeral profession coming together to raise funds for a great cause.
