Just because soda is sugar-free doesn’t mean it’s safe for your smile.

Sugar contributes to tooth decay, but it’s not the only culprit. Sugar-free sodas still contain acids that weaken enamel. When acids mix with bacteria and saliva, they form plaque (biofilm). Without proper cleaning, this can lead to tooth decay and gum disease.

✅ Best choice? Stick to water, and enjoy fizzy drinks in moderation.
