Did you know that we are now nearly half way towards being a society where 50% of female 16-34 year olds are living with a diagnosable mental health condition?

A document evidencing the mind-body connection as well as emphasizing the importance for seeking help with your mental health for the benefit of both mind and body.

When we think of mental health, it is often in an isolated capacity. As if mental health is only to do with the mind. On the contrary–the mind and the body are inextricably linked. The brain is the switchboard for the body, therefore when things are not going well in your mind, it sends signals to...

Choose your friends very wisely. Friendships should encourage personal development by encouraging you and your friends to engage in activities that grow your knowledge, skills and experiences and don't stunt your personal development by keeping you in comfort zones that are detrimental to both physical and mental health; as well as, your future life prospects, due to the engaging in unhealthy habits and the cutting you off from new experiences.

The biggest liberator in life is having the ability to be who you want to be, and share your true beliefs, values and opinions over any matter where you do not fear the negative evaluation of you by others. This will free you from approval seeking behaviour which will have transferable beneficial effects such as putting a stop to comparing yourself with others

Modern life conditions us to seek approval. Familiarising yourself with approval seeking behaviours helps you recognise your approval seeking and correct it

Government thinking about elderly mental health simply because they see young people as having educational and vocational needs making elderly mental health cheaper to treat as far as they are concerned. This will always be the thinking of a right wing government. That is "economy before people". Money before mental and physical wellbeing. That's what they were made to believe during their formative years therefore the only answer to this is to boot them out of power and have them replaced with a left wing government. The question is: Is that a choice in our country i.e. "Right versus Left" or "Right versus weak & ineffectual".

Mental health charities say the government’s broken promise to produce a new strategy focused on mental health “risks letting down the one in four people in the UK impacted by mental illness”. Instead ministers plan to include mental health within a broader Major Conditions Strategy, along wit...
