Ahead of the official launch, Glasgow Times Editor Stacey Mullen is keen to encourage Glaswegians to think about nominating their neighbours, colleagues, friends or family members.

GLASGOW is full of unsung heroes, who go the extra mile for their communities, Stacey added.

On the back of this we only played a small part in this Neilston Well Walks all rose to the challenge if you would like to be part of our small team for next year doing good in the local community why not join us improve your fitness meet new people walk and talk and improve your mental health and wellbeing come along to one of our walks in our glorious countryside and you too could be part of it.

Get in touch we walk on Saturday mornings at 10am or Thursday evenings at 6.30pm ask any of the guys who come away they all love it come and see for yourselves.

This team has been made up of our incredible Rays of Hope members, friends, family and supporters along with Neilston Well Walks & Legacycomps and match funding from ScottishPower ❤️🌈

Fundraising is our main source of maintaining our service and keeping all our services free to those who have had a cancer diagnosis.

Did you know that 4,526 charities closed down in 2024 due to lack of funding.
Your continued support allows us to keep providing our vital cancer support service for many many years to come. ❤️
