🎬💫 A Wish Come True for Marion! 💫🎬

When Marion shared her wish to see the Andrea Bocelli documentary at the cinema, our team at Kelvinside Manor made it happen! 💙

She enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the Showcase Cinema, watching in comfort from the reclining chairs with a big smile on her face. Marion said she had a wonderful time - and we’re so glad we could help make it special! 😊🍿

Another week means another wonderful book club gathering! Our residents are still enjoying the twists and turns of our audiobook, The Family Upstairs, but we can never resist the charm of a good paperback either! 📖🎧

There’s nothing better than sharing stories and a love of reading together. Looking forward to more page-turning adventures ahead! 🌟

This Friday, 26th September at 12:30pm, we’re inviting you to sample a delicious selection of dishes that could feature on our brand new autumn/winter menu! 🥗🍲

There’s a fun twist - just like on ‘Come Dine With Me’, you’ll get to score each dish and help us decide what makes it onto the menu.

We were absolutely thrilled to have our resident Marion take on the role of judge for this month’s Meals Mean More competition! 🎉

With a true passion for cooking and baking – and even a spot on Masterchef under her belt - Marion brought pride, expertise, and a big smile to the event 😄👏

Her enthusiasm lit up the room, and we’re so grateful for her wonderful contribution to making the day extra special 💙

Anne had a fabulous time browsing the rails on a recent trip to Loch Lomond Shores – and she certainly knows how to spot a good find! 🛒✨

It was a lovely outing filled with fresh air, fashion, and lots of smiles. We love seeing our residents enjoying new experiences and making the most of every day 💙

🧦☕ Sock Sorting & Tea Sipping! 🧦☕

Our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in helping our colleagues in the laundry with a fun sock-pairing session! 🧺✨

Not only did we do a fabulous job matching up all the socks, but we also made sure to enjoy plenty of tea breaks and laughter along the way ☕

It’s these little moments of teamwork and togetherness that make our home so special 💫

🛶 Sailing into Smiles with The Seagull Trust! 🛶

We had another wonderful sail along Kirkintilloch Canal, thanks to the amazing team at The Seagull Trust!

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with fun - from playing dominoes on deck, to waving at passers-by, and even taking a turn at driving the barge! 🃏👋

It was a fantastic way to spend time together, enjoy the fresh air, and make some lovely memories 💬✨

📚☕ Storytime & Smiles at Kelvinside Manor! ☕📚

We had a lovely morning kicking off our first weekly book club - and it was a hit!

Our residents gathered to enjoy the audiobook “The Family Upstairs”, and we’re already intrigued by the twists and turns of the story! It was the perfect way to relax, connect, and spark some great conversations.🎧📖

A big thank you to our brilliant colleagues for helping create such a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

🛍️👗 Pam’s Pop-Up Shop Came to Visit! 👗🛍️

This week, our residents enjoyed a delightful shopping experience right from the comfort of their own home, thanks to Pam’s Pop-Up Shop! 💖

There were smiles all around as everyone browsed the rails, chatted about styles, and picked out a few lovely pieces to brighten their wardrobes. It was a wonderful way to bring a bit of retail therapy into the heart of our home! 😊🛒

🚤Canal adventures with Kelvinside Manor! 🚤

We had a lovely afternoon cruising down the Kirkintilloch Canal on a Seagull Trust barge trip! The sun was shining, the views were beautiful, and the company was even better 🌿😊

Our residents truly enjoyed the peaceful journey, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories together.

We’re already looking forward to our next trip at the end of the week! 🛶✨
