It’s the end of an era !

Our lease on Energise Cambuslang ends on 5th July

Millport will be our main centre from then on for both training and treatments, although Karin will still be working in Cambuslang some Saturdays in future.

It’s been a brilliant 11and a half years in our wee Camby haven, but it’s time to let it go and move on .

Huge thanks to everyone that’s been part of our time at Mansion Street - from those who helped us make the move from Sauchiehall Street all those years ago , to all our clients and learners , and therapists and tutors who worked from Energise .

Grateful for the friendships and relationships formed, good times ( lots of those ! Too many to list ), tough times ( we survived lockdowns against the odds , got royally ripped off a few times and had indoor rain more than once ! ) and to everyone who supported us through thick and thin ( including the resident spooks ! )

For the blessings and the lessons, the reasons, seasons and the lifetimes alike.. grateful !

What a lovely day today teaching Zen Zone Therapy Experts' manual lymphatic drainage course to two very talented therapists who came all the way from Lanarkshire to Energise Millport to train .

This is a gorgeous treatment that uses very light touch to support and promote the flow of lymph through the body , creating a sense of wellbeing and deep relaxation , and helping to relieve swelling .

It's not to be confused with Brazilian MLD, which uses some lymphatic drainage, but is nore vigourous and more about sculpting the body

Lots of laughs, and lovely work , and a perfect sunshiney day into the bargain . My gammy leg could have used some MLD today, I wasn't jealous, honest :)

There's home study, one day practical training , case studies ,a written assessment and a practical assessment once case studies are completed - your practical assessment can be done online .
This is a very thorough course , where you'll recap on your existing anatomy and physiology knowledge and be confident and competent in offering targetted treatments to your client.

A few of my favourite things include laughs with Chris, cuddles with the cat, starry nights, Millport sunsets, music ( and learning to play the violin ) , time spent with family and friends, my job ( best job in the world, floating about listening to hippydippy relaxing music, massaging people ! ) , living in Millport , velvet things and cake !! always cake ( specially the strawberry one from Hephzibee ! )
