🍳🍌 Kitchen Creations at The Oaks! 🧀🍞

It was all go in the kitchen as our residents got stuck into cooking and baking some of their absolute favourites – Mac & Cheese and Banana Bread!

The dishes looked and smelled amazing… but they tasted even better! A real treat for everyone involved 💙

A massive well done to our fabulous residents Lorraine, Gemma and David for their culinary skills and enthusiasm 👏🎉

🥄🍰 Garden Goodness & Crumble Joy! 🌿🧡

We ended up with a bumper crop of rhubarb from our garden this week - and what better way to celebrate than by whipping up the best rhubarb crumble ever? 😋

We may be on a bit of a health streak... but let’s be honest, everyone deserves a cheat day now and then!

A huge congratulations to Gary, our fabulous maintenance colleague, who’s truly gone above and beyond this month! 🎉

✅ Passed our fire inspection
✅ Passed the health & safety audit
✅ Passed the maintenance audit - all with flying colours! 🏅

Not only is Gary a star when it comes to keeping everything running smoothly, he’s also brilliant with our residents, who love helping him out with gardening and little jobs around the home 🌿💙

🛍️🍔 Shopping & McDonald's Smiles for Sean! ☀️💖

Who doesn’t love a bit of retail therapy and a tasty McDonald's breakfast? Our resident Sean certainly did - and we’re all just a little bit jealous! 😄

This outing was a wonderful step for Sean, who doesn’t usually enjoy going out much. Seeing him embrace the day with confidence and joy was truly heart-warming. 💪🌟

Our lovely resident Lorraine was busy whipping up something delicious for our much-loved Tea and Talk at 2pm - a time where everyone, colleagues included, down tools to come together. 🫖🍪

It’s a chance to pause, connect, and enjoy meaningful conversation over a cuppa and a treat.

These small moments make a big difference in our day. 💫

From creamy brie to crumbly cheddar, paired with fresh fruit and crackers, our residents had a lovely time indulging in tasty treats and great company. 🧀🍓🥂
