Our residents have been getting creative during our arts and crafts session here at The Oaks! From choosing colours to adding their own unique touches, it was a lovely afternoon filled with imagination, concentration and plenty of smiles.

Activities like this bring relaxation, joy and a wonderful sense of achievement - and we love seeing everyone express themselves through their artwork 😊✨

Resident Gemma has had a wonderfully active time recently - and as always, she’s keen to get involved in every new activity that comes her way 💛

🎲 Snakes and Ladders at The Oaks
Gemma enjoyed a fun and friendly game of snakes and ladders, sharing laughs and light‑hearted competition with others.

🪑 Chair Yoga in the Local Community
She also took part in a gentle chair yoga session in the community, supporting wellbeing, movement and relaxation.

We love seeing Gemma’s enthusiasm - she brings such positivity and energy to The Oaks! 😊✨

We enjoyed a fantastic Pancake Day at The Oaks Care Home, filled with mixing, flipping and plenty of delicious toppings!

Our residents had great fun getting involved, sharing lots of laughter and, of course, tasting their tasty creations. The smiles said it all - a simple activity that brought joy and a lovely sense of togetherness 😊✨

We had an unforgettable celebration at The Oaks Care Home as we marked Frank’s 50th birthday in true GBX rave style!

With the music pumping, lights flashing and plenty of dancing, our residents enjoyed a brilliant afternoon filled with energy, laughter and feel‑good tunes 🎶😄

Frank had a fantastic time, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to make his milestone birthday so special 💛

Our lovely residents enjoyed another fantastic bingo night here at The Oaks, filled with laughter, friendly competition and plenty of celebrations!

The room was full of excitement as everyone waited for their lucky numbers to be called, and we had lots of happy winners too! 🏆

Our lovely walking group enjoyed some fresh air and great company! Gemma, David and Lorraine headed out for a gentle stroll, joined and supported by our fantastic colleagues

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic hands‑on cooking session, learning how to make a delicious homemade carbonara!

Ian, Gemma and Senior colleague Yarek led the way, guiding everyone through each step with plenty of laughs, teamwork and tasty results. The kitchen was full of wonderful aromas and even better company 💛

We welcomed a very special visitor, Pauline, who popped in to see her dear friend Lillian, who recently moved to her new care home. Their reunion was full of smiles, catching up, and lovely memories shared

Our residents enjoyed a lovely, creative afternoon as Gemma led a special Valentine’s origami session!

Everyone had a wonderful time folding beautiful paper hearts and decorations, sharing laughs and conversations along the way. It was a calming, fun and heart‑warming way to celebrate the season of love
