A family owned business, Pacific Care have a proven track record in the care industry, with five care facilities throughout Glasgow and Renfrewshire. Our care facilities include Lillyburn Care Home, its specialist dementia care annex Kintyre, Birdston Nursing Home, and Birdston Day Care Centre at our Birdston Road site in Kirkintilloch, Mosswood Care Home in Linwood and Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley. At Pacific Care, we understand that finding the right care and support for you, or your loved ones, can often be an emotionally difficult and daunting task - which is why, in addition to our excellent facitlities, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of personal and professional care for all of our residents and service users.

🎉 Birthday Celebrations! 🎉

It’s been a month full of joy, cake, and special moments! 🥳

✨ At Lillyburn, Betty turned 101 years young – and is still showing us how it’s done!
✨ Over at Stanely Park, Tom marked his 80th birthday. 🎂
✨ And at our Day Care centre, we enjoyed celebrating several wonderful August birthdays together – each one a chance to share smiles, songs, and of course, cake! 🎶🍰

A huge thank you to our staff, families, and friends who helped make these celebrations so special. 💜

🌟 Life at Pacific Care 🌟

It’s been a busy and fun-filled time across our homes and day care!

✨ Lillyburn – Residents enjoyed a glamorous awards night with dinner, music, and red carpet photos to celebrate their individuality.

🍪 Stanely Park – We decorated biscuits to thank our amazing staff and shared what we’re most grateful for.

🤠 Mosswood (Gryffe Unit) – A Wild West party with costumes, music, and plenty of dancing brought smiles all round.

⚽ Day Care – Everyone kept active with another fun Fit-Baw football fitness session.

🐦 Birdston – Residents built and decorated colourful birdhouses with paints, pens, and stickers.

💜 Moments of fun, gratitude, and creativity make life at Pacific Care truly special.

🚤🌞 Summer adventures! 🌞🚤

What better way to enjoy the sunshine than with a few boat trips? Our residents and service users have loved these fun-filled outings.

✨ At Stanely Park, everyone loved the trip to Lochwinnoch with a scenic boat ride, a picnic by the water, watching the ducks, and a cuppa in the café.

✨ Lillyburn residents set sail on the Sir Walter Scott boat at Loch Katrine, followed by the perfect treat — fish and chips in Callander!

✨ Over at Birdston, residents enjoyed a relaxing canal boat trip. As well as lunch onboard, they took in the peaceful surroundings, spotted a heron and a family of ducks, and waved to friendly passers-by along the towpath.

🌸 Meanwhile at Birdston Day Care, there’s been plenty to celebrate with the Teeyan Festival — a Punjabi tradition filled with colour, dancing, and joy.

🏅 And at both Mosswood and Birdston, residents have been preparing and training for the Senior Sporting Games — staying active and having fun together.

Our values celebrations are still going strong across Pacific Care 🌟

🐝 At Birdston, residents shared kindness in the community by hiding Bee Kind messages for people to find — simple words of encouragement left on benches, in bushes, and more. If you’ve found one, we’d love to know where and how it made you feel!

🎨 Over at Lillyburn, residents created posters showing what each of our five values — Kind, Passionate, Trusted, Respectful and Inclusive — means to them. Their thoughtful words are now proudly on display around the home.

Eleanor’s Bucket List Moment Hits the Headlines! 🏍️🎉

We’re delighted to share that our resident Eleanor was recently featured by STV News, after her dream of riding in a motorbike sidecar came true at 90! 💙

As part of our Bucket List initiative at Lillyburn Care Home, Eleanor took to the roads in style - joined by a convoy of 16 bikers up the Campsie Hills. Her smile says it all! 😊

We’re so grateful to STV News for sharing this story. These special moments are what our bucket list project is all about: celebrating life, honouring personal dreams, and making every day meaningful.

We’re in the middle of Values Week across Pacific Care, and today we’re celebrating one of the most powerful values of all: Kind 💛

At Birdston, residents and staff are heading out into the home and community to share some unexpected joy—by leaving kind quote cards in public spaces for others to find.

We are incredibly proud to honour team members at Lillyburn Care Home, Birdston Care Home, Birdston Day Care and Head Office who have each reached an amazing milestone – 10 years of service with Pacific Care!

Their unwavering dedication, compassion, and care have made a lasting impact on the lives of our residents, their families, and fellow team members. We are so grateful for everything they do each day to uphold the highest standards of care.

We’ve had a busy month of birthdays across Pacific Care, with lots of celebrations taking place! From tea and cake to a few tunes and plenty of smiles, it’s been lovely marking these special days with our residents, service users, and their families.

🎉 Celebrations & Memories 🎶

We’ve been marking special birthdays at Birdston Day Care and Stanely Park with cake, smiles, and lots of cheer! 🥳

At Birdston Care Home, residents enjoyed a lovely reminiscence therapy session, listening to old records and sharing memories. We even found some classic 78s—though sadly, they couldn’t be played, they still sparked conversation and nostalgia. ❤️

A Special Reunion 💛

Agnes, one of our lovely Lillyburn residents, recently enjoyed a heartwarming reunion with her cousin Christine, who attends Birdston Day Care — also part of the Pacific Care family. The two hadn’t seen each other in many years, so it was a truly special moment.

They spent time reminiscing about family gatherings, including picnics in Blantyre where Agnes remembers around 35 relatives all coming together! They chatted and laughed together for a good 45 minutes — a beautiful reminder of the joy that reconnecting with loved ones can bring. 💬✨
