Balance in yoga begins with a strong foundation, a focused mind and steady breath. Whether you’re flowing through Tree Pose or exploring new transitions, remember that balance is a practice, not perfection.

Here are a few simple ways to feel more grounded in your practice:

👣 Spread your toes and root through all four corners of your standing foot
😤 Engage your core to create stability from within
🦵🏼 Soften the standing knee with a slight bend to stay strong and supported
👁️ Keep your gaze fixed on one steady point
🌬️ Breathe slowly and deeply to calm the body and mind
🤲🏼 Use props or the wall when needed: support is strength, not weakness
💫 Practice transitions mindfully to build functional balance and control
🧘 Start with foundational poses and grow from there

And most importantly… if you wobble or fall out of a pose, smile and try again. That’s where growth happens!
