Check out this post from See Me to learn more about public stigma and what you can do to help.

๐Ÿ“ฃ More than nine in 10 Scots have experienced mental health stigma from those closest to them, according to our .

We are renewing our call for the public to rethink attitudes towards mental ill health ๐Ÿ’ญ.

๐Ÿ—จ Public stigma continues to be one of the key barriers people experience when it comes to speaking up and seeking help with their mental health.

It is often influenced by stigmatising stereotypes and myths that are passed down through generations or presented in the media and social media ๐Ÿ“ฐ.

โŒ Inaccurate portrayals of mental illness in books, films and TV series spread damaging misinformation to many people โ€“ including people who have a friend, family member or loved one who experiences poor mental health.

Last chance to enter Glasgow Business Awards 2025 - Could you be the next Fair & Healthy Workplace Award winner?

The Glasgow Business Awards 2025 is still open for entries, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. The Awards celebrate success, innovation and business excellence and there are opportunities to celebrate all areas of your businessโ€™s life.
Many large and small companies recognise that their success can depend on workforce wellbeing and morale. In partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, the award for Fair & Healthy Workplace will recognise employer contributions to workforce wellbeing.

This category celebrates and rewards businesses who have, over the last year, committed to putting in place policies and practices to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees and through doing so, have created a fairer workplace, and have realised direct improvements to the performance and productivity of their business.

The Glasgow Business Award for Fair & Healthy Workplace is free to enter, and is an opportunity for employers to show their commitment to fair work at the glittering awards dinner in October.
For more information check out the awards website https://www.glasgowbusinessawards.com/ which is open for entries until 10th July 2025.
