let's take a moment to celebrate something incredibly vital…. SELF LOVE💖 just like we nourish our bodies with healthy foods and exercise, it's equally important to care for our mind 🧠

REMEMBER your mental wellbeing deserves just as much attention

below are a few tips to practice self love this weekend 👇🏼

1️⃣ Mindful Moments
take a few minutes each day to breathe
deeply and check in with yourself, how
are you feeling?

2️⃣ Positive Affirmations
replace self doubt with more uplifting
thoughts, write down things that
resonate with you then read them out
loud

3️⃣ Reach Out
connect with friends or a support
group, sharing your feelings can lighten
the load and bring you closer to others

4️⃣ Prioritise Rest
just like your body needs sleep, your
mind needs rest too, allow yourself to
properly unwind and relax

🌈✨ Emotions Unplugged: if they could
speak…

imagine if your emotions could step out of your mind and have a heart to heart chat with you, what do you think they would say❓

let’s do this together ⤵️

1️⃣ choose your emotion: take a moment to think about an emotion you’ve been experiencing lately… is it anger, anxiety, joy sadness or maybe something else entirely❓

2️⃣ If that emotion could speak, what words would it share with you❓would it express its needs, fears, or perhaps a longing for understanding❓write down a few sentences as if you’re having a conversation with it

3️⃣ comment below if you wish with your chosen emotion and the message it would bring, let’s create an assortment of emotions together… your insights might resonate with someone else who’s feeling the same way

4️⃣ take a moment to reflect, why do you think this emotion chose to communicate with you in this way❓what can you learn from it❓

🌿 FEEL good FRIDAY 🌿 fans

as we reach the end of another week, I have been reflecting on how much studying CBT and engaging in my own therapy have shaped the way I now work and live my life, these experiences have helped me overcome various challenges, understand myself more deeply, and approach life with greater balance and compassion

one of the most valuable lessons I have learned through this is to appreciate the present moment, as each day offers small opportunities for joy, a meaningful conversation, a quiet pause or a smile that lingers a little longer than usual

we can’t always predict what tomorrow will bring… but we can choose to make today count ✨

so today I’m reminding myself and hopefully you too to slow down, notice what is good and take a moment to feel thankful for how far we have come, let this FEEL GOOD FRIDAY be a reminder to cherish the present, lean into your present feelings, and find strength in your own vulnerability

🌟 together let’s nurture positivity and resilience, making every Friday an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of being alive 🌟

do you ever… ⤵️

feel completely drained by the smallest decisions like what to eat, what to wear, what style to do your hair or whether to reply now or later ❓

DECISION FATIGUE is the quiet mental load that builds up when our brains are constantly juggling choices from morning right through till night

CBT helps us notice the unhelpful thinking patterns that make this worse like 👇

🎯 perfectionism (i have to make the right
choice)

🎯 catastrophising (If I get this wrong it will
be a disaster)

🎯 people pleasing (I don’t want to upset
anyone)

and suddenly…

even small decisions feel huge, cognitive behavioural therapy can help create small routines, simplify things where possible, and remind yourself that GOOD ENOUGH really is GOOD ENOUGH

every time you take one thing off your mind, you make room for calm and clarity

💡last night I did something I have never done before👇

i went to a concert 🎶 on my own‼️

at first it felt a bit strange stepping out of my comfort zone but once I got there something shifted…

i felt free, confident, and completely present in the moment, it reminded me that empowerment often starts with the courage to do things for ourselves, even (and especially) when it feels a little uncomfortable

i have a feeling this is the first of many solo adventures 🎉

LETS TALK 🗣️ Dopmamine….. fans

We often hear that dopamine is the
🧠 pleasure chemical 🧠 but that’s not quite true 👇

Dopamine isn’t really about PLEASURE it’s about PURPOSE

🚨 it drives us to seek, pursue and move towards the things that matter to us

🚨 it’s what motivates us to get up, take action and keep going

PLEASURE is what we FEEL after we have achieved something meaningful and DOPAMINE is what gets us there in the first place

when we understand that, we can start to build lives that feel not just good, but purposeful
