For appointments please contact 0141 644 2244 (Clarkston Clinic) or 0141 778 4400 (Shettleston Clinic). We offer clinical appointments, house calls and offer surgeries in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. We offer a wide range of Podiatry treatments which are undertaken by professional, fully insured HCPC Registered Podiatrists.

Nail Fenestration.

Fungal nail infections are the most common disease of the nails. Infections can range from mild to severe and can affect one or several nails on both feet and hands.

Nail Fenestration is a specialist method whereby micro-holes are drilled directly into the nail plate to allow topical anti-fungal ointments to optimally pe*****te to the nail bed. Early clinical studies suggests this treatment option improves outcomes compared to topical nail lacquers alone. This treatment will expose the fungal nail and allow the antifungal agents to pe*****te the affected areas more readily.
