BAM - Teaching & Learning Facility, New Office Block and CRF BAM is building a new Teaching and Learning Facility and Lecture Theatre at Glasgow's Southern Gener The project is targeting BREEAM Excellent.

BAM are commencing works on the new Teaching & Learning Facility in Septermber 2013 in the Glasgow Southern General Hospital campus. BAM are also working on a new Office accomodation Block on the same site and on a 5th floor refurbishment of the existing Neurology buuilding. We will demolish the existing hospital buildings, to then build a four storey steel frame Teaching and Learning Facility for Glasgow & Clyde NHS and the University of Glasgow. The Teaching Learning Facility will have a zinc shingle facade, whilst the adjoining lecture theatre will feature a gold mesh around it. The new facilities will include teaching and research space that will be lost when the Yorkhill and Western Infirmary close. The project is part of a wider scheme for the new Southern General Hospital, which is aiming to open in 2015.
