We are an independent chiropody/podiatry, physiotherapy and dermatology practice located in the west of Glasgow, Scotland. We have specific expertise in child biomechanics. We practise from a ground floor clinic at 52 Switchback Road, G61 1AE (just near Canniesburn roundabout, parking right outside the clinic). We also do chiropody home visits in the West End, Bearsden and Milngavie and around the city.

Here’s a wee top tip from our wonderful NHS staff, to keep us safe when it’s icy out.
Take care out there!

When it comes to getting around on ice, penguins know best! With the weather turning chilly, adopting your stance is an effective way to move without falling. Give it a try when you’re out and about in the next few days.

Top tips to walk like a penguin:

⚫ Bend your knees slightly and keep them loose.
⚫ Point your feet out slightly.
⚫ Extend your arms at your sides.
⚫ Walk flat-footed, taking short steps.
⚫ Keep your centre of gravity over your feet.
