Having worked at home and abroad in the health and fitness sector as a fitness instructor for some years and with much personal introspection practising and teaching various disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates and Meditation, it is my belief that we must integrate positive elements into our lives to achieve total well being and be the best we can possibly be. I call myself a well being practitioner

as I offer service to individuals or groups to help improve ones each of these three elements. I am a physical conditioning trainer, massage and reflexology therapist and offer guided meditation and various stress management practices. Our Story

I studied Health Fitness and Exercise obtaining an HND at Glasgow College, I progressed to attain a Bachelors Degree in Sport Health and Exercise in Dundee. I gained valuable experience working in local gyms (Esporta, NRG Connections) teaching a variety of fitness classes including Spin, Swiss Ball, Body Balance, Circuits, Stretch and Relax etc, before setting of across the seven seas working on Cruise-ships, the Royal Caribbean and Oceania. Prior to setting off working for Steiner, I was trained in-house at the award winning studio the Fitness Consultancy, London by Stella Nash, where I was taught the methodology in teaching Pilates and Yoga. I was lucky enough to gain valuable experience and knowledge, with continual inhouse training as well as teaching on beaches in the Caribbean and Brazil to name a few, it was a hard life. This gave me a taste for the beaches and sunshine and I spent the next couple of years working as the fitness director for water sports holiday companies SunSail and Mark Warner.

After much personal introspection practising and teaching various disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates and Meditation, it is my belief that we must integrate the positive elements they bring into our lives to achieve total well being and be the best we can possibly be. We must take care of and nurture our Body, Mind and Spirit. ‘Contrology’ is a mind, body spirit approach to exercise and it focuses on a method of applying six principles being Centering, Control, Concentration, Precision, Breath and Flow, as discovered and explored be Joseph Pilate in his method. Contrology is for everyone and crosses over into every sporting professional, rehabilitation of injury, recovery for post natal mums and for improving general conditioning. It will greatly enhance the well being of everyone, of any age and every level of fitness.
