You're standing in the gym, watching someone confidently load up a barbell while you clutch your phone, desperately trying to remember that workout you saved on Instagram.
After 10 minutes of scrolling, all you find is:
Seventeen reels of how to make baked oats for breakfast
a few funny parenting memes
and mounjaro jab weightloss updates.
The squat racks are all taken and it doesn't look like ones going to be free any time soon.
Your pre workout is kicking in, but your confidence isn't.
And you're s**tting it about the Bulgarian split squats.
They definitely aren't happening in the middle of the weights area tonight.
The worst part?
This isn't even your first attempt at getting back into training.
You've been here before - signed up to gym, saved a few workouts, even tried following those YouTube "transform your body" videos.
But something always feels off.
Like you're just going through the motions, not really sure if you're progressing or just spinning your wheels.
Sound familiar? 👀
Here's what I hear from nearly every client who joins my small group training:
"I felt intimidated all the time walking into gym alone and not knowing anyone."
"I kept trying random workouts but never knew if I was doing them right."
"I just needed someone to show me what to do and keep me accountable."
Know what the best part is?
Within weeks, these same people are walking in with confidence knowing exactly what they're doing, high fiving their training buddies after hitting PBs, actually looking forward to training (wild, right?),
and making plans to book in for another session together.
The difference?
They're not doing it alone anymore.
Instead of dreading the gym, they're part of a small team who text each other "I'm in on Monday at 12"
Because they actually care if you show up.
My small group training isn't just about having a program that works (though that's a nice bonus).
It's about having a coach(me) who knows your goals, your strengths, and yeah, even that dodgy shoulder that plays up sometimes.
A consistent team who notices when you're missing and actually gives a s**t about your progress.
That sweet spot between getting lost in a massive gym class and having to make awkward small talk with a PT.
A proper plan that progresses week to week (no more random workouts).
Most importantly?
It's about finally making progress because you're showing up consistently, training properly, and actually enjoying it.
