Its been a funny old 10 years.....👀

From starting AllorNothing Fitness Nutrition

To competing in my 1st bodybuilding competition.

Then my final photo shoot in 2022 (after shoulder reconstruction surgery in 2020)...

To starting .meals

I think sometimes its good to step back away from the chaos and noise and actually say....

"Actually, I've done OK!"

I think my one criticism of bodybuilding is it can make you hyper obsessed with something.

Nothing is ever good enough.

Never satisfied.

Bodybuilding isn't about being contented.

But in reality.....

Being content is pretty f*cking good!

Time is our most precious resource.

You can’t buy it.

You can’t find it.

You can’t store it.

You can’t trade it.

This week: Make sure you’re using some of your time doing things you love, with the people you love.

After some difficult mental challenges in 2026 I have been focusing much more on taking back time for me and those around me I care about.

I spent 10 years building businesses, chasing money, wanting more and more clients, and what did it bring?

MORE stress
MORE pressure
MORE obsession with money

You can't take money with you when you "go"

But you can leave memories with those that matter most

Let’s say you stay consistent all week,

You’ve set your numbers to lose 1lb this week,

You have your calorie deficit of -3500 sorted for the week.

Happy days.

BUT!!

It’s your sisters birthday this weekend?!

You all go out for pizza and wine?!

And pizza is amaaaaazing?!

So instead of a few slices you eat the whole pizza yourself…

You definitely have more drinks than expected,

And in reality you’ve had an extra 1000 cals that meal on top of what you’d planned.

I want you to stop still and think about this,

This exact moment is important.

HOW YOU FEEL:

“Omg I’m stuffed, I’m so bad I can’t believe I’ve done that… I’ve ruined the week… may as well carry on and start again Monday…”

THE REALITY:

You now have a deficit of -2500 instead of -3500 over the week.

You’ll still lose over half a pound.

Do THIS week in week out and you’ll lose around 30lb over the year.

And STILL have your pizza and wine.

But remember your thought process in the moment?

“I may as well start again Monday…”

THATS the bit which causes the problem.

You have another 500cals that’s evening.

Because you’re starting again Monday the rest of the weekend you have another 2000cals more than planned.

Biscuits here and there.

Another takeaway?

A few more cocktails?

And now zero weight loss.

Instead of just saying I’m cool with -2500 and enjoying the night.

You see?

Consistency is absolutely the key no matter how big or small the result each week.

So many people try to lose 2lb a week,

Realise that strategy doesn’t fit for their lifestyle,

And throw the towel in week in week out.

Some “start in the new year” too!

Chipping away consistently for the win,

And STILL having 🍕

Sounds good to me… 🤌🏻🙌

WANT TO FEEL IN CONTROL?

Thinking of jumping on keto to lose weight?

Accepting where you're at in life isn't a weakness.

It doesn't mean you've failed.

It means you've changed.

Adapting to circumstances, forging a new path and living a fulfilling life shows strength.

Continually ploughing along a path, that maybe you have no business on now, and that only brings frustration, pain and disillusion....

That shows fear!

Fear of taking that new, unfamiliar path.

Thats the crossroads I'm at now.

No more wrong turns!

"You're never a bodybuilder mate......you're just fat"

Had this recently on a reel for my coaching (can't remember what it was even discussing) from a troll.

Now in the past, this would have been met with me engaging with this absolute nobody!

Engulfing my day and massively impact my mood.

But things have changed recently. And therapy definitely plays a part in this.

Sure, I WAS a bodybuilder for years, competed, done OK I suppose.

And it did teach me some good things in terms of discipline, structure and work ethic.

And I carried this into other areas of my life, including starting and growing several businesses, most recently NutriKing.

But bodybuilding also instilled some negative behaviours.

Obsession over how I looked compared to others.

Obsession over every aspect of my nutrition 24/7.

Obsession over killing myself in the gym 5-6 days a week.

Fast forward a few years....

Injuries, surgeries, arthritis setting in, multiple businesses running.

It is an entirely different chapter of my life now.

So my mindset now is to train for enjoyment.

My mindset now is to have a healthy relationship with food.

My mindset now is to be present for others and not obsess over myself.

So in a way that troll was right.

I'm not a bodybuilder. I was once, in a past life, but that's not me anymore (and it has taken many years to realise this).

Therapy works people, don't be embarassed to get it!

"Isnt fruit too high in sugar and bad for you?"

The amount of times I hear this, when there are so many other habits stopping people from losing weight.

In short......NO!

No its not "bad" for you. The positives in terms of the micronutrient and fibre content FAR outweigh any perceived negatives you have about sugar.

And I know its fructose which is metabolized differently by the body.

But differently DOESN'T mean unhealthily.

Eat your fruit kids!
