EDINBURGH KILOMATHON
One of the most enjoyable events in the running calendar is Edinburgh's Kilomathon. It covers a distance of 13.1km from the Royal Yacht Britannia to Murrayfield stadium. Congratulations to all those who took part in yesterday's event and braved the wind, cold and rain.

Andrew King took part in Lenzie Academy's Career Convention held on Thursday evening. It was a pleasure chatting to senior pupils about their future careers - some of whom may be the next generation of optometrists!

Tomorrow, Thursday 5th March is World Book Day, which aims to celebrate reading for fun. We are delighted to take part in Lenzie Meadow Primary School's Book Treasure Hunt. Our featured book is "Katie Morag Delivers The Mail" written by Mairi Hedderwick. Good Luck to all the pupils participating.
