I offer Merishia Massage and Equine Healing.....
Merishia massage uses a combination of pressure point technique and myofascial release which helps release spasms and tension built up over time allowing your horse freedom of movement and release from pain and discomfort . The benefits of massage treatment can certainly help improve behaviour under the saddle and in turn this instills confidence in the rider when tackling both 'fresh' and 'rested' horses.
Equine healing is similar to the Bowen Technique in that it is all about balancing the body's energies, removing emotional blockages and enabling free flow of healing energy throughout the body.
You may find your horse has a few aches and pains, or niggles, and unwanted behaviour is being displayed due to stiffness of muscles, tension at being worked again or feeling 'fresh' after a rest ..... There's always a reason for undesired behaviour but it's trial and error trying to find the underlying cause....
Many clients are booking regular 'massage for performance maintenance' treatments to ensure that any issues are dealt with before they become too great.
