Well Being Glastonbury Healing Hub offers complementary therapies from local therapists, for free or optional contribution, to promote greater well-being for all.

We currently have spaces available for meditation and mindfulness at 12.30pm to 1.15pm, one session available for Reiki at 2.30pm.

Details and information on how to book below;
MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION – experience a variety of simple and short meditation techniques, linking mental awareness with breath, body and sound; in a seated or lying position, with occasional chanting and movement. Meditation helps us to experience and accept the present moment more fully, release inner resistance and blocked energy, and allow our natural state of wellbeing to flow. Meditation has numerous positive mental and physical health benefits. If you are experiencing mental health issues or have any concerns about this practice being suitable for you, please seek your GPs advice before starting a class.

REIKI - is a Japanese energy healing technique. The predominate form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s a complementary or alternative health approach. Reiki does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being.During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you to bring about healing. The belief is that the practitioner is able to stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities.Reiki is non-invasive and thought to be safe. It doesn’t have any known harmful side effects. For those with a past trauma, lying quietly in a dim room with someone close to you might be uncomfortable. Reiki is not intended to replace any doctor-approved treatment plan.

HAWAIIAN TEMPLE HEALING – an ancient Hawaiian hands-on technique. This practice energises, balances and moves energy around the body. It clears out old stagnant energy and opens up the meridians and leaves you feeling wonderfully centred and energised.

SHAMANIC HEALING - is a deep powerful sacred practice. My intention is to connect and seek guidance to work with my spirit helpers and find the root cause of the client’s issue. I then use different shamanic techniques like cord cutting, past life healing, power/soul retrieval, to find the issue/ailment or stuck emotion. Finally, I use different techniques, directing and reweaving the energy centres in the body and then a healing energy is channelled to the client.

*The Wellbeing Glastonbury Healing Hub has been undergoing a transition this summer, with one of our co founders moving to pastures new. We, the volunteers and the people who have benefitted from the healing hub are grateful to Patti Richards for her work and commitment in setting up the healing hub during the first lockdown at the end of 2020 and her motivation to keep it running and growing over the last 18 months.

After September 7th, future Healing Hub sessions will be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting from 19th October. Session times will also be changing with 45 minute sesions, running from 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. We also have a new email address: wellbeingglastonburyhealinghub@gmail.com
