If you've suffered with issues such as chronic back pain that holistic massage doesn't seem to help with, sports massage may be the right treatment for you. I've encountered clients who think that a good sports massage has to hurt, but this isn't necessarily the case. My aim is to work with your nervous system, not against it! So please don't ask me to "beat you up" and be honest when I ask if the pressure is too much (looking at you gentlemen👁), as more often than not this causes muscles to tense up, which is counterintuitive and makes my job a lot harder 😆 discomfort may be inevitable in certain areas, but generally, pain isn't beneficial!!!
