International women’s day comes in the midst of a noticeable rise in misogyny and the very important message to defend women’s rights and support the rise of the feminine. It is the single biggest threat to systems of abuse, control and oppression, which is exactly why the feminine is being so massively targeted right now.

It is time that we see the attack on the feminine for what is really is - not only an attack on women but an attack on God, on consciousness, on the very soul of humanity. The contraction towards the feminine are the deathspasms of a demonic system of systemic imbalance and abuse.

The divine feminine is here to set us free, to help us understand that God is not a tool to enslave and punish people, that we are part of the divine. A structure that supports the oppression of part of humanity, is not serving god, it is serving darkness.

The feminine is rising, not to recreate sharped structures of dominance and subservience, but to restore balance and put our humanity once again at the centre of our actions and our decision-making.

How is everyone feeling since the blood moon? What a powerful full moon eclipse…

Powerful events come with powerful messages, they inaugurate a period in time where certain energies and archetypes are playing out. This moon reconnected us to our blood:
* what are some of the limiting/toxic beliefs and structures held within our blood that were passed on through past generations or anchored into our operating system through societal conditioning
* what are the veils hiding our true self (doubt, fear, guilt, …)

The moon coincided with the celebration of Purim, remembering how queen Esther saved her people by revealing her truth, by revealing herself as she was. - so are we invited to be true and reveal ourselves in our fullness

Illusions are being stripped away collectively, and divine mother is tugging at the veils still hiding parts of us that are ready to be seen and exist.

Blood is being shed on this planet, people are suffering - this is a reality we need to acknowledge to be able to change it
AND at the same time our light is amplifying and our light bodies are coming online - we need to cultivate this light to hold space for the transformation of the darkness.

I share the Magdalene initiations to rewrite the stories that have shaped our collective subconscious and that have created repeating, limiting storylines within ourselves and inner structures that tolerate or perpetuate in quality and abuse.

Our myths were altered through male redaction and reinforced the patriarchal narrative. What many call “tradition” is s heavily curated and redacted version of reality. Myths and stories shape our reality - when we start to shift them, we start to shift our reality.

This is what we do in the Magdalene initiations - we strip away the layers of patriarchy, we study sacred texts, look at the origins of our rituals and traditions before they served an agenda of domination and through this - we deconstruct toxic structures within. I believe this work is essential - it sets us free and helps us reclaim the parts of ourselves we lost as our humanity was redacted - and it is high time we free ourselves and became whole again.

This right here is one of the reasons why I share the Path of Magdalene initiations - because through reinterpreting what has been distorted through patriarchal lies and bias, through filling in the blanks left out because of misogyny, a very different story emerges. A story that values the feminine as much as the masculine, that celebrates the presence snd contribution of women, a story of companionship and moving forward together. A story that could have been lost forever had it not been for brave women, scholars and translators reviewing the texts and the stories, the myths that were passed on without scrutiny, to allow a more truthful story to emerge. A story that is more balanced.

The distorted stories have done so much harm, misogyny has been woven into religious structure and from there into the instituons that rule and shape our society. The biggest bigot is the man that is the patron Saint of the Vatican, their leading example - how can that institution as it is possibly support women and human rights?

Is it then surprising that we live in a world where we’ve normalised abuse?
It is problematic that historically the most violent, most grotesque voices and people have shaped the narrative. Not only is this a great injustice for everyone who is not a white, straight male, but it is incredibly unfair to all the men who did show up for justice, fairness and equality over the course of history. Most of them have remained anonymous.

Even in Mary Magdalene’s story there were men who supported her unconditionally - Jesus kept praising her and saying that she was the understood the teachings best, that she would lead the disciples after his death, Levi stood up to Peter when he called into question her authority, Joseph of Arimathea supported her escape from the holy land, many men travelled with her, supported and protected her after the crucifixion. I hope to show this part of her story in the book I’m currently writing about her life.

The divine mother has historically been reduced to one of her aspects, diluted to only represent the part of her that is a loving mother, always patient and compassionate. While this is an aspect of her, it is an incomplete version. Casting divine mother as the silent, meekly smiling Mary is problematic because it has created a template of what it means to be feminine and sacred. Anything outside of this expression is deemed not feminine, undesirable, unholy.

Within Abrahamic religion, and within our global society, the fierce feminine has been labelled unsafe, dangerous, vindictive and at times even demonic. This is very problematic and it has largely contributed to a culture of abuse - women have lost the right to protect their boundaries, to be angry, to revolt in situations of injustice and abuse.

The fierce feminine represents divine justice, she is the self-correcting mechanism in the universe that activates when our world has gotten too imbalanced. Her fierceness is an expression of her love, it means that she has not given up on us, it means she feels we can do better. She emerges to destroy systems built upon abuse to allow for something new to emerge. Without knowing and living her - we don’t know divine mother.

The need for radical freedom, purposeful action and conscious community collide with the rigidity and corruption of existing structures and institutions. The scene is set for a fiery year of revelations and exploring what our new foundations and foundational beliefs are.

I believe feminine-focussed and feminine-centered spirituality is more relevant and important than ever. With all the horrors finally coming out in the media and confirming what many of us already knew - that the system we operate within is inherently corrupt and abusive, that our institutions are sick, I cannot help but reflect on how different things would’ve been if the divine mother were still honoured in her fullness, still placed on the altar of our collective spiritual experience. What would our world look like if we still knew all life to be sacred, if we lived with the knowing that our earth was part of the body of God/des and we were part of his/her body.

History has shown that matriarcal systems are more concerned with the well-being of the collective, of the community and more focussed on reciprocity than on personal gain and success at the cost of others - the patriarcal operating system that we’ve all been upholding for millennia. The feminine is more circular than vertical, more focussed on inclusiveness than on exclusivity through separation.

When goddess was still revered, the divine was part of the everyday, it was a very real, physical, embodied experience - not something vague and conceptual that could easily be bypassed - but a living experience with a tether to every aspect of our life. Divorcing the feminine from the spiritual experience is at the root of so many injustices, not only against women, but against all life, for the very life-giving principle is placed outside of the heart(h) of our relationship with the divine.

High time to reinstate the goddess and the feminine. This is why Mary Magdalene’s voice is so loud, this is why she is helping us go back into the body, reconnect to the land, prepare the body as the temple of the divine.

Most of the rituals and traditions we practice today actually have a deeper symbolical and mystical meaning, though we are often unaware of their origin. It’s no different with Valentine’s Day.

Its origins are found in beautiful temple traditions of hieros gamos - or divine union - where love becomes the breath of life, a force of healing and the connective tissue between seemingly separated parts of reality. Love is the most powerful vehicle for expansion and creation, but oh so often misunderstood. We can find answers by listening to our hearts, listening to the mystics, poets and artists.

Sharing an extract of a chapter I contributed to the book “Magdalene Unveiled” compiled by Jane Astana Ashley for .

The chapter shares the story of how my path with Mary Magdalene and being initiated by the power places of the earth awakened my kundalini and shakti energy and how awakening these dragon currents within was the beginning of the collapse of a long-term relationship and a complicated journey with the masculine as many men felt triggered by this energy. (will share more about this in future posts)

As I was being initiated and remembering more of the history of this planet, our humanity and my own past experiences on this planet, a whole new chapter opened up about mastering and channeling sexual energy as a life-giving energy that connects us to the life force currents of this planet.

Memories of intentionally awakening kundalini/shakti in a ritualised setting to nourish the energy of the land, supercharge prayers and facilitate the circulation of life and light through communities, the land, our bodies, etc. started coming back to me. I remembered some of my earliest erotic dreams, recurring over the years, of me being in nature feeling aroused or orgasming and not having a framework to understand those dreams thinking I had a weird kink or even feeling shame. Journeying with the Magdalene has allowed me to reconnect to ancient priestess lineages engaged in symbolical acts of sacred union and sacred sexuality and understand how far we have drifted from a healthy - and sacred - experience of sexuality in our society. Sexual misconduct and abuse has become one of the most degenerate and painful faces of an out-of-control toxic patriarchal system. I believe that we didn’t always get it so wrong and that through learning from the ancient mystery schools and their practices, we can find our way back to a humane, sacred, alive and joyful experience of sexual union. To do that, we have to reclaim what has been erased: the presence of the divine mother as a necessary aspect of our psyche, our decision-making process, the underlying force of cohesion and reciprocity in our social networks, our innate spiritual connection to all life.

The rose vaults of the earth are places where the memory and legacy of MM, Yeshua, the holy family, their community and the rose lineage have been held within the land and landmarks. These frequencies and memories are now awakening and reconnecting humanity to the truth of who we are and our shared purpose on this planet.

Every piece of land on this planet holds a wealth of information - a real library of life. Once we start to communicate with the spirit of the land - which requires a capacity to listen and be in silence, and a reverence of the presence of the divine in all life and the divine mother as the birther of all that is - we can start to learn, through direct experience, the living legacy of the land. As we are resurrected into fullness, so are we resurrecting our planet into wholeness.

Our birthplace, the cultures we are part of, our families’ history, the cultures we are drawn to and the mystery schools we feel resonance with are all part of the story we are meant to heal, resurrect and rewrite.

On Imbolc the goddess Brigid lights the fire of the earth and she lights the fire of our inner hearth. Brigid means “luminous” or “fiery arrow”, a very appropriate name for a torchbearer who has carried ancestral knowledge and ancient traditions into our era, nurturing them until they can once again take root and come to life.
Brigid is a beacon of hope, teaching us resilience and helping us to keep the faith.

Imbolc is the celebration of our inner fire, our muse, our creative juices and our drive and desire to create and generate change and transformation. Brigid is an ally for anyone hoping to transform the world with their art, their passion, their creative talents, in the spirit of unity and togetherness.
