May the fires of life burn bright within you 🙏.
And the wheel of the year turns. Brighids day /candlemas. WAKE UP MOTHER EARTH. Cross Quarter day ~ Halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Celebrations begin at sundown on the 1st February and all through the day of 2nd February. The quickening of the year. The Crone energy of the winter months shifts into Maiden energy. This day celebrates the passing of winter, preparing for spring as we honour the rebirth of the sun. Goddess Brighid keeper of the sacred flame brings hope, warmth and joy and gently nurtures the just stirring earth. She whispers through the snowdrops "Hold onto your dreams they are as precious as the promise of Spring."
Sabbat of purification after the shut-in life of winter through the renewing power of the sun. The journey back to you begins. 💫new beginnings. 💫stirrings of new life 💫inspiration.
Walk out of the cold of winter into the warmth of spring.

❄️Winter Solstice Blessings🕯️
And the wheel of the year turns ….

May you find peace in the stillness of the shortest day and longest night. Rest, reflect, release, go inward seeking guidance and strength, knowing that each day forward will be blessed with more light. This Winter Solstice carry the hope, and move towards a vision that will become a reality ~ patience, silence, dreaming and resting.

🖤 SAMHAIN BLESSINGS 💜
And the wheel of the year turns.....
Summers end/Halloween
Start of the shortening of the days and the lengthening of the nights considerably. All souls night/feast of the dead. Festival of remembrance. Feast of apples. New year. This is a very important festival it is the third and final festival of nuts and berries and a fire festival. After this time any nuts and berries remaining should not be picked but left for the wildlife. All the harvest is in, fields are bare, leaves have fallen from the trees, all complete it is the end of the cycle of birth and regrowth. The point of death ~ the seeds of the harvest have fallen deep into the dark earth ~ unseen, dormant and apparently lifeless. The Sun as Sun King is sacrificed back to the land with the seed until the winter solstice and the goddess now as Crone mourns him until his rebirth at Yule. He travels the underworld learning its wisdom. Fires are lit in honour of the sun god.
The veils between worlds are thinnest this time of year ~ boundaries dissolve ~ all is laid bare allowing spirits to pass through. Reconnect with our ancestors. Honour the ancestors who came before us. Death is always followed by rebirth, end of old year and beginning of a new year. Before there was light there was darkness ~ they are inseparable, necessary and interdependent. Darkness is fertile with all potential ~ this is an opportunity to rest and reflect on the past and dream of new beginnings. We begin to slow down ~A time of going inwards and reflecting on our shadow self.
The goddess is very pregnant and in the Crone stage ~ the sun child sleeps still in the womb of the goddess ready to be born at solstice.
The apple is a symbol of life and mortality ~ traditionally they were buried at Samhain as food for those souls who are waiting to be reborn. The apple cut crossways reveals the five pointed star or Pentacle at is core ~ a symbol of the goddess.

💫 Into the portal the witches shall go, To hear the call of the ancestors flow. Connect our spirit this Samhain night, insight wisdom bring to light. 💫

🍁 MABON/AUTUMN EQUINOX BLESSINGS 🍂
Another point of perfect balance on the journey through the wheel of the year. Night and day are of equal length and in perfect equilibrium ~ dark and light,masculine and feminine, sun and moon, sky and earth, inner and outer ~ in balance. We are again on the cusp of transition ~ from now on the year begins to wane and from this moment darkness begins to defeat the light. The Suns power is waning ~ nights grow longer, days are shorter and cooler. The Sap of the trees returns back to their roots deep in the earth, changing the green of summer to the fire of autumn ~ oranges, golds and flaming reds. Returning to the dark from where we came.
Mabon is the second harvest ~ fruit harvest and great feast of thanksgiving. As the grain harvest is safely gathered in from Lammas and reaches completion, we enjoy the abundance of fruit and vegetables at this time. It is now time to thank the Sun for the wealth and harvest bestowed upon us. Mabon is a celebration and also a time of rest after the labour of harvest. This is the great harvest ~ halfway point between the peak of the Sun at Litha and its opposite in December the night before Yule. The earth dies a little each day and we must embrace this slow descent into dark before we can truly appreciate the light that will return in a few months. Mabon is considered a time of the mysteries. It is time to honour Ageing Deities and the spirit world. A time of balance ~ it is when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our personal harvests ~ from working in the garden,our jobs,raising our families or just coping with everyday life.
The God and Goddess prepare for their journey to the otherworld, the earth and all of her children prepare for the time of quiet and reflection that lies ahead.
Take time this Mabon to reflect, clear out, complete projects, reap what you have sown, let go of what is no longer needed or wanted, as we prepare for descent.
💫 May your Mabon be memorable and your hearts and spirits be filled to overflowing. Renew, Revitalise and Restore. 💫

🌻BRIGHTEST LAMMAS/LUGHNASADH BLESSINGS🌻

And the wheel of the year turns.
Midpoint between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox.
It is now high summer and the union of Sun and Earth, God and Goddess has produced the first harvest. Lammas is the celebration of the first Grain Harvest, a time for gathering in and giving thanks for abundance.
The word Lammas is derived from “loaf mass” and is an indication of how central and honoured is the first grain and the first loaf of the harvesting cycle.
At Lammas the Goddess is in her aspect as Grain Mother, Harvest Queen, Harvest Mother, Earth Mother. The fullness and fulfilment of this present harvest already holds at its very heart the seed of all future harvest. So as the grain harvest is gathered in, there is food to feed the community through the winter and within that harvest is the seed of next years rebirth, regeneration and harvest. The Grain Mother is ripe and full, heavily pregnant she carries the seed of the New Years Sun God within her. It is also the great festival of Lugh and God of Light.
The bounty and energy of Lugh of the Sun is now beginning to wane. It is a time of change and shift. Active growth is slowing down and the darker days of winter and reflection are beckoning. Lugh surrenders his life with the cutting of the corn.
Rejoice in all that we have.
Let us dance in the sun wearing wild flowers in our hair.
