I was recently asked to create something a bit different (I do love an aromatic challenge!)
A masculine blend to be used in a nourishing body moisturiser, with the request that it be built around the wonderfully grounding Patchouli. 🌿💚🌿

From there, the blend began to take shape. To complement Patchouli’s deep, earthy tones, I brought in:
🌼 Neroli – to lift the spirit, ease tension, and bring a touch of refined brightness.
🤎 Sandalwood – calming and centering, offering depth and quiet strength.
🌳 Oakmoss – earthy and restorative, grounding the blend in nature’s embrace.

It’s been such a beautiful process, layering these oils together, watching the blend unfold into something that feels both rooted and awakened. It’s coming together so well, and I can already sense the presence and vitality it will carry✨💚✨

An aroma born from request, intuition, and the magic of the oils themselves. 💫🌿💫

Aloe is a fantastic plant to have in the house, it's an air purifier and great for soothing and healing burns. It's been a while since I have posted about our deodorants... So here's a little love for the one that started it all 🥰

When I first started my journey with natural deodorant in my 20's, I remember feeling so frustrated. Nothing seemed to work the way I needed it to… so I decided to make my own 🌱✨🌱

That’s how Lime & Patchouli was born 💚 It was our very first natural deodorant, and to this day it’s still one of our best sellers!

I’ve been our deodorants for years now and I can honestly say I’d never go back to a supermarket brand 🙅‍♀️

I absolutely love this time of year 🌿✨🌿 Nature feels so generous right now, and the hedgerows are brimming with treasures. On my latest wander I gathered sloes, hawthorn, and yarrow, each with their own beautiful gifts:
🍇 Sloes – traditionally used for making sloe gin (or vodka) , but also rich in antioxidants and known to support digestion.
🌸 Hawthorn – a classic heart tonic, often used to support circulation and overall cardiovascular health.
🌼 Yarrow – a wonderful herb for soothing the body, supporting digestion, and traditionally used to aid in wound healing.
Back on the allotment, I picked some golden calendula flowers 🌞 (great for skin healing, soothing inflammation, and a gentle immune support) and collected their seeds to save for next year, a little cycle of abundance continuing on.

🌾✨ Lammas Blessings from the Meadow ✨🌾

As the first golden grains are harvested and the wheel of the year turns once again, we pause to honour Lammas the festival of first fruits, abundance, and gratitude.

Today, I gathered meadowsweet, the queen of the summer hedgerows, under the late sun. With her creamy blossoms and sweet almond scent, she’s a gentle healer, traditionally used to ease pain, inflammation, and bring comfort to body and spirit.

She’ll soon be infusing in oil on my windowsill, soaking up the last of the summer light. This batch will be used in small batch pain relief balms and ritual incense, a true offering from the land at this sacred cross quarter moment.
