With the warmer weather and longer active seasons, experts are warning that 2026 could well see record tick numbers!

Which makes those everyday moments outside - walks, gardens, slow weekends in nature - something to be a little more mindful about.

Oil of the week- Rose Geranium 🌸

Rose geranium essential oil gives emotional stability during stressful times of life, such as sadness and anxiety, and is especially supportive for skin and female hormone imbalances. 💪

Rose geranium is rich in antioxidants and is used as an active ingredient in skincare products for healthy, youthful looking skin.😊

The oil promotes the skin’s natural healing and regeneration, reducing sluggish skin. 👍

It is safe for use on those prone to irritated, inflamed, and / or sensitive skin. ❤️

Rose geranium is an astringent, antiseptic and fungicidal oil.💚

From .roomiow “Making moisturiser with my Goddaughter 🫶💚

Super easy recipe with only a few all-natural oils.
Perfect for replenishing skin after the winter. Use after a bath or sauna for extra rehydrating power.

250g Shea Butter
25ml Avocado Oil
25ml Sweet Almond Oil
A few drops of your fave essential oils. (We used Cederwood, Neroli and Petitgrain)

🌱Sterilise some used (clean) glass jars in the oven. Leave to cool.
🌱Gently melt the Shea Butter, Sweet Almond and Avocado oils together in a pan.
🌱Take off the heat and add essential oils.
🌱Pour into a bowl and place in the fridge until it starts to solidify (about 20 mins)
🌱Whisk into a creamy consistency and transfer to re purposed jars.

Use on dry skin. If you are pregnant or have sensitive skin, leave out the essential oils.
