It really is an amazing time to come to Glastonbury, Avalon starts to slow down, you can feel the energy deepening on the land, retreating inwards….Glastonbury starts to breath differently which allows you to find your natural rhythm without all the wonderful chaos that has been around over the last few months in town…

~Windows to the Soul ~

The Bridget Healing Centre & Call of the Shaman

At our Healing Centre in Glastonbury we have some incredible little & large windows with views onto the High Street looking over to the ancient George & Pilgrims Hotel an 11th Century Inn (G&P to locals) and also onto the Market Cross a grade 2 listed monument where people from all around the globe gather, we also have a few secret little views across some of the old roof tops… 👀

It’s such an honour to hold this old place in our arms, that has been used for Healing purposes for well over 45 years…

Sometimes during the dark winter months, when we hold small magical circle gatherings, we have seen 2 Hooded Men walking through two of our rooms to get over to the G & P…these men are thought to be a couple of Monks from the Abbey…

At first it was quite alarming to hear whispers as I turn off all the lights and watch the shadowy swishing cloaks walk by, but now it’s got a sort of normality to it…
they don’t speak but they do look kind of shifty rushing through the rooms with heads down carrying a candle in a lantern… 🕯️

Planning a trip to Avalon?

It is such a fascinating journey for thousands, many experience deep personal transformation while in Glastonbury...

Its always good to remember, the true energy of Glastonbury/Avalon isn’t the High Street with its plethora of shops, crystals & cafe’s, workshops & wyrdo’s (including us) they are all part of its fun.

It’s more about the land & nature that Glastonbury has....its beauty, its bounty, the magical way it puts its finger on the pulse of ‘stuff’ going on for you....it amplifies the good and the things that need healing....

Living & working here, is not for the faint hearted, many come & go, as it can be a very intense place, but also, so very nurturing & rewarding, depending on where you are on your path of spiritualness...as quick as it pulls you in, it also spits out those who are just not meant to be here….

Many fall into an illusion, as we have had it said to us “it must be so easy to be Healers running Glastonbury’s longest running Healing Centre in this wonderful place”……

Well, it really is not, it’s exceptionally hard work, due to the amplification of people’s projections, jealousy & ego’s a go go, it means we have to continually keep detaching away from all of that, to enable us to fully tap into the purity of what true healing actually is and why we heard our ‘Calling’ so deeply in the rhythm of this magical land….we simply have to get on & do the work we were ‘called’ to do, in this wyrd & wonderful place that has been our home for so long, it’s also one of the reasons why our work is named
‘CALL OF THE SHAMAN’ ...

So, when you are next called here, we really hope you get to find out what Avalon can do for you..

After taking a little time out to have some fun ~ to rebalance and remember our calling to our path ~ to reset and remove energies that have been intrusive and unsettling, we are now really looking forward to the new exciting things we have planned for our Healing Centre ~ our 1 to 1 work and all our courses…

For starters our DAY EXPERIENCE with Call of the Shaman on
Saturday 22nd November 11-5pm…

This workshop is a rare chance to work with us for a whole day as a delicious taster into who we are and what we do on our year long training starting in March and how we work with Shamanism & Healing sharing our extensive experience of well over 40 years.

You can takeaway some delicious appetisers to enjoy and use in your own practice or on your self and learn some really deep ways to enhance your life force, connect deeper to nature and delve into some ancient runic rituals…

We will enjoy some time with The Healing Drum learning to connect to different realms and delve into the spirit world through rhythm & trance that will enhance your own connection to

Hello everyone…

This is a difficult post as on one level
it feels wrong to share, but on another level we want people to know what happened and what is happening as lots of you have so kindly messaged us..so many thanks, it really makes a Huge difference… 🙏

Our Sacred Space was invaded~broke into…what we mean by this, is that a person/man chose to enter our Healing Centre without permission or invite… via a tiny window in our loft … he got on the roof via scaffolding early hours on Friday morning…

He broke open our loft door and then dropped into our reception space…

He did make himself a coffee which he spilled on our healing book whilst taking the time to write a message in it and sign his own name and also wrote on our desk diary…

He then went through all our rooms and pocketed some personal crystal skulls and various sacred objects and also things you need in a squatt like our tea towels, a mug, a hammer, screw driver and a jar of nails but seemed obsessed with a joke sign on the loft door…. It sounds comical doesn’t it….

He left through a window which he opened to make an easier escape..

The police have done absolutely NOTHING !!! ….not even contacted us or come to visit to take a look…..!!!! we have the man’s name and have evidence, photos etc ….he is actually living illegally in the squatt at the old Papa Johns Pizza Shop in Glastonbury….so this leaves us as victims, with NOTHING and the perpetrator free to roam around the town swearing and drinking etc etc and living life to do it again to others..

We have been told that some are supporting this squatt, people who have some sway on the town such as the Mayor and friends …. as they have been openly saying “it helps the town”?!! On what level???….

Anyway we have dropped some photos of him after climbing out of one of our Healing Room windows .. just because it feels appropriate….

We are open and more ready for work than ever as this has NOT changed our calling of being of service …

So we hope to see you all as usual for your sessions and once again we thank all who support and care 🙏

The beauty of the Fly Agaric Mushroom (Amanita muscaria) contains the psychoactive compounds muscimol and ibotenic acid, leading to a range of effects including sedation, hallucinations, impaired coordination, delirium, and, in higher doses, seizures and coma……effects@vary greatly depending on the dose and the individual, and consumption is dangerous due to the unpredictable and potentially severe symptoms.
Muscimol is the primary hallucinogenic compound, causing sedative, dissociative, and psychoactive effects…..but all that being said it is just the most beautiful shroom
