Thanks to The Masons Charitable Trust, our Under 5’s group offers something different a space to simply belong.

While children explore our sensory garden climbing, balancing, discovering the world around them they’re building trust and attachment.

And alongside them, parents are finding each other.
Sharing, connecting, and realising they’re not alone.

Let Leicestershire SEND Hub have your ideas and suggestions 🗣️

As part of the SEND reforms, one of the areas that the Local Authority has to develop alongside Health and other parts is an Experts at Hand offer to schools. This is a team of experts who can support schools and their pupils to ensure that mainstream provision can meet the needs of many children and prevent escalation into more specialist provision.

The outline of what we want to offer in Leicestershire needs to be in place in early May, so this consultation process needs to be rather a shortened process. This offer will be developed further next year but the DfE require some level of detail now. Your voice and insights are so important so if you can spend some time filling in this form to share them with us, it would be highly beneficial to the planning process.

All ideas will be considered as part of this but we cannot promise that all suggestions will be taken forwards, it will be a case of finding that common ground and agreement about what will benefit children and young people the most.
