Hello and Happy New Year to you all! 👋

Firstly can I just offer my sincere apologies for the radio silence. Being discharged from the hospital wasn't all it cracked up to be and both myself and Georgie have been adjusting back into home life and working on getting her back to good health. She is doing amazing, gained lots of the weight back that she lost and surprising us all at coping without food for over 5 weeks now while her bowel recovers. We have started on the medication now so she will be having regular outpatient appointments to monitor that but we are now starting to think about life as it was before and how we get back to some sort of normal.

Thank you all for your kind messages, patience and support. I know I have been slow at getting back to you and there may be still some unanswered messages in my inbox as my head just isn't quite right yet 😬

Anyway, talking about getting back to things as they were, I've had to make some changes because I don't know how the next few months will pan out. Georgie started back at school on Monday and completed 2 full days but due to tiredness and overwhelm has needed to take this morning off to rest so as you can see I'm going to need to allow for flexibility.

The changes won't be for everyone and I fully understand and hope I can accommodate you in the future sometime.

💜 I will be reopening the business on Tuesday 23rd January

💜 Working hours will be 10am - 3pm Tuesday to Friday

💜 My business address is now my home and your appointments will be on York Street, off Sheffield Road. (Full details will arrive in confirmation emails once I've updated the system)

💜 Appointments may be cancelled/rescheduled if we receive hospital appointments that clash

💜 As previously stated, all vouchers and pre paid packages will be honoured regardless of expiry dates

Update: 5/13/23

We are still in hospital but have now got a diagnosis of Chrohns so are able to start a treatment plan now. The treatment is quite intense and is going to take some time for myself and Georgie to adapt to while in hospital and then settling back at home and finding our new routine.

I have closed the diary again for this week and next as we haven't had mention of a discharge date yet. I will be in touch with those of you who's appointments are affected.

This has definitely been the most challenging and conflicting time I've experienced as a parent and business owner and I do want to be back with you all however I need to make sure I get this right so we are not back in hospital for weeks on end again.

Update 24/11/23

Extended business closure

We are still in hospital and awaiting some diagnostic tests. Georgie is very unwell at the minute and has lost a quarter of her body weight in a very short time, become anaemic and is very run down.

For a child that is terrified of needles the constant blood test, IV drips and flushes and then a blood transfusion yesterday, it is a lot to take for an 8 year old and the only one who can be with her is me.

She is due to have a diagnostic procedure on the 3rd December so we are inpatients until that date for definite.

Appointments for the following week 27/11 - 1/12 have been cancelled and I will update further as and when I will open.

The diary is open beyond those dates but appointments are still not guaranteed until we have some stability so please do not pay upfront, please select pay in person at the checkout.

⚠️TEMPORARY CLOSURE⚠️

As some of you may know, my daughter hasn't been well for a while now and we've been back and forth to appointments.

On Thursday they finally took us seriously and admitted us to the ward and we are awaiting transfer to another hospital where she will be undergo further tests with a specialised team with the goal of getting diagnosed.

As a single mum, juggling everything on the daily is tough at times anyway but even more so when they are sick and I have really struggled for the last few months and the business hasn't been at the forefront of my mind.

I don't want my business to get a name for messing people around, not communicating quickly enough and always cancelling because I do usually pride myself on my professionalism.

As we are in limbo at the moment and I don't have any definitive answers as to how long we will be in for, I have taken the difficult decision to close completely for this week (Monday 20th November - Friday 24th November)

Obviously I will be reviewing this situation as we progress through the week to find a tenable solution, please keep your eyes peeled for further updates.

Feel free to book online but just with the knowledge they could be cancelled.

All prepaid packages, vouchers due to expire this month and appointments already paid will be honoured/rolled over and I will be in touch individually with those of you affected. Albeit on a slightly slower pace.

• imagine these roots are flowing right down into the centre of MotherEarth and anchoring in
• take a moment or two and just take in your surroundings, any smells, colours, sounds

😍 Appreciation post for those people who go about their day doing little things that make a difference to peoples lives and they don't hang around to be thanked.

It's never expected of anyone but when I see folded towels in the room after a client has left it makes me smile 😁

There is only a short window of time between each appointment to tidy up and prepare the room again. Then if I'm lucky I can squeeze in a toilet break and a drink, this doesn't always happen so when you lovely people leave the room like this it makes my day a little bit easier and I want you to know it's appreciated.

I always strip the beds and empty bins for the cleaners whenever I stay at hotels for this very reason.

🌞 Appointments in the school summer holidays 🌞

There are some slight changes to opening times and availability so to make sure I can fit as many of you in as possible you may receive a call/email to nudge your booked appointments forward or back a little if we can.

I am taking annual leave from Monday August 25th until Wednesday September 06th so if you have a prepaid package be sure to book August's appointment before those dates please 😁
