I WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK INCLUDING EVENINGS.

My name is Tara I am originally from Adelaide, South Australia and have had the pleasure of living and working in Glossop since 2013 I am married and have 2 young boys and a Border Collie that keep me busy when I am not at work.

I started my Ear Care journey in 2015 working along side some of the best ENT consultants in the North West with continued learning and education on going I am fully qualified and insured. I started my ear wax removal business in November 2021 and I can now offer three techniques of ear wax removal including Microsuction, Ear Irrigation. both these are very safe and well used methods each have an important place in ear care and only when needed manual that is done with specialised tools.

A huge reason of why I have chosen to do what I do is the relief and help I am able to provide people with after treatment, being able to have a conversation on the phone, enjoy a holiday or simply just watch television with a loved one.

Removing foreign objects from the ear is not something I ever guarantee, as it can be a complex and delicate procedure. I pride myself on always recognising when something is beyond my scope or comfort zone and requires referral to another healthcare professional.

However, it is something I successfully manage most weeks, with common items including cotton bud tips, hearing aid domes, and silicone moulds.

On this occasion, the patient was extremely pleased that I was able to help her promptly and save her what would likely have been a very long wait in A&E.
