Thinking of everyone who's lost their cariad today, meddwl am pawb sydd wedi colli eu cariad.....

Heddiw, rydym yn dathlu Santes Dwynwen, nawdd santes cariadon yng Nghymru.

Today is Santes Dwynwen's day, when we celebrate the Welsh patron saint of lovers. Like Valentine's day, it's such a difficult day to navigate for someone grieving the loss of a loved one.....

You may not be able to hold them in your arms, but there is always room to hold them in your heart ♥️

So pleased to be invited to be a part of this!
As you know, pet loss is something that's very close to my heart - everyone should have the chance to honour their pets with compassion and respect 🐾

🐾 Pet Loss Support Group – January Gathering 🐾
Our next Pet Loss Support Group takes place on Thursday 22nd January at 7pm at Hadfield Conservative Club, and we’d love to welcome you.

These gatherings are about celebrating the lives of our pets, sharing stories, and finding comfort among people who truly understand the bond we share with them.
Whether:
you’ve recently lost a beloved companion
you’re caring for an elderly or unwell pet and gently thinking about end-of-life
or you simply want a safe, understanding space to talk about your pet
you are very welcome.

The evening will be hosted by Cherished Companion, alongside Georgia, who has been supporting our recent gatherings and helping to hold a calm, supportive space for those attending.

This month, we’ll also be joined by Paula, a celebrant who works closely with bereaved pet owners. Paula will share her experience of supporting families before and after loss, explore meaningful ways to honour and say goodbye to our pets, and talk about pet funerals, farewells and gentle rituals. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for questions and shared discussion.

There’s no pressure to speak, no counselling, and no expectations — just a warm, welcoming space, a cup of tea, and people who understand 🤍

📍 Hadfield Conservative Club
🕖 7pm – 9pm
☕ Tea & coffee provided
🎟️ Free to attend

If you’d like to come along, comment below or send us a message.

You don’t have to be on this journey alone.

PS. Thank you as always to Jane and Darren for allowing us to use their space at Hadfield Conservative Club.

Yesterday - a day of big coats, sensible boots and cosy scarves as families gathered in the biting cold to say goodbye.

The first services of the year, marked by the stillness and stark beauty of fresh snowfall - muffled conversations, tears and tissues, hugs and handshakes.....

It is a privilege and honour to walk beside people along an unfamiliar path, and their trust is something I will never take for granted ✨️

Thank you ✨️

To all the wonderful families I've had the honour to meet this year:

✨️It's time to surround yourselves with warmth and comfort, and share some quiet moments of remembrance and love.

✨️Christmas will never be the same, but somewhere along your grief journey, you will begin to accept and learn to live differently.

✨️There will always be a 'before' and 'after', but one day, you'll speak their names and smile, you'll laugh, enjoy life again.

Go easy on yourselves this Christmas and thank you for entrusting me with your loved ones ✨️

Well that's all my services done for this year and I just want to say thank you, diolch yn fawr, to every family that has entrusted me with their loved one's service this year.

It is an absolute privilege and honour to stand by families, to guide and support them along an unfamiliar path.

I wish you all a peaceful Christmas, and the hope and strength to find light on darker days ✨️
