Employers can use the Working Minds Awareness Day Calendar 2026 to plan and take action on mental health at work.
Good mental health is not just good practice — it’s a legal duty.

Employers can use the Working Minds Awareness Day Calendar 2026 to plan and take action on mental health at work.

Good mental health is not just good practice — it’s a legal duty. The Working Minds campaign supports employers to manage work-related stress and treat psychological risks in the same way as physical ones.

Use key awareness dates — including Time to Talk Day (5 Feb), Mental Health Awareness Week (11–17 May) and World Mental Health Day (10 Oct) — to start conversations, review risks and take practical steps to prevent harm.

Manual handling is a part of work on a construction site. However, getting aches and pains from it are not. Getting pain after manual work could be a sign of a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD). Sound familiar? Tell your employer. They are responsible for reducing the risk to you from MSDs: https://bit.ly/2T4mdCi

🌎It's World Kindness Day 2020! ❓What do we mean by kindness?

🌻 Kindness is choosing to do something that helps others or yourself, motivated by genuine warm feelings.

People who are kind and compassionate see clear benefits to their wellbeing and happiness.

We all have so much going on in our lives including competing strains and stresses – not to mention the current coronavirus pandemic. This can see kindness pushed to one side, in favour of what is urgent or trending now.

☀️There are so many ways to help others as part of our everyday lives. Good deeds needn’t take much time or cost any money.

👉So take a few minutes, have a read of our 'Kindness Matters Guide' and think about doing something kind for a friend or stranger today: https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaigns/mental-health-awareness-week/kindness-matters-

❓What are you going to do on ?

📢It’s 🌎

🎁 An opportunity to share kindness all around the world💚

~~~~~~~~~
At times like this when the world feels upside down,
kindness can be the key to turning things around
You see, kindness has the power to create community, support and hope.
A helping hand says your not alone when you face that upwards slope
Of course, being kind is always the right thing to do
But did you know that doing good is also good for you?
You see a little act of kindness can boost your mental health
It can lower stress and cheer your mood to think of someone else
And of course, don’t forget to be kind to yourself
It doesn’t have to take a lot, ‘cause even the smallest spark
Can be the thing to light the way when someone’s world feels dark
So, make that call, share that gif, send some happy post
And this World Mental Health Day 🌎
Remember kindness matters most! 💚
