Gloucestershire OCD Support Group

Gloucestershire OCD Support Group A free, informal, volunteer-run support group for those affected by obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). We are not therapists or mental health professionals.

The Gloucestershire OCD Support Group is a free, informal, volunteer-run support group for those affected by obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Instead, we aim to provide a safe space that enables people affected by OCD to meet and talk to other individuals who have been impacted by the condition. Our membership includes people with lived experience of OCD, as well as those who support others who have the disorder. We host a monthly support meeting on Zoom, as well as providing a WhatsApp group where members can discuss their experiences with OCD. Through these platforms, those affected by the disorder can speak to people who understand what it's like to live with the condition. According to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, more than 1 million people in the UK suffer from OCD at some point in their lives. At the Gloucestershire OCD Support Group, we hope that the support available will enable you to live better with the disorder.
