Never Miss a Monday' is such an overused phrase but it can actually be more detrimental to your goals

Yes, starting the week off in the right way, setting you up for the rest of the week is all good but what if you do miss that Monday?

To me, it's got a lot of guilt to it and instilling the mindset of 'starting again on Monday'

Things happens, life happens

You can't always guarantee to get it done on Monday's - but it's not the be all and end all, just start the following day, or the next

Each day is a chance to 'start again'

Not just the turn of the week

I rarely train on Monday's, but I also don't let that affect my week🫶

It's been a while but a good time to come back to raise awareness for World Su***de Prevention Day❤️

If anything in this has affected you in anyway, please reach out to me, or someone, or I've included some helplines at the back❤️

'Committed Su***de' is such a common phrase when someone dies by su***de

People 'commit' crimes, su***de IS NOT a crime

We need to do better in educating ourselves as a world / country / community / individuals on the subject of mental health and su***de❤️

So instead of saying 'Committed' Su***de, say:

- Died by su***de
- Took their own life
- Ended their life
- Lost their life to su***de

And whilst we're on the subject, su***de is also NOT selfish or attention seeking - which I would assume would go without saying but in 2025, the above is still an assumption by some

Which again proves, we need to do better❤️

If you're affected by any of this, if you're struggling in anyway, then please reach out to someone❤️

We live in a society where if someone gains weight then they've 'let themselves go'

Because, god forbid, someone actually gains weight, is happier and healthier (both mentally and physically)

That person that's gained weight might have actually had an eating disorder, but they've done so much work on themselves, gained weight, and are now in a much better place, both mentally and physically

All because we live in a society where being 'thin' is what it's about, even if you're compromising your mental health

So I'm here to tell you - as long as you're happy and healthy - whatever size you are, then just do you❤️

And if this is something you've struggled with, or you've been triggered by anything that's been mentioned - please feel free to message me for a chat❤️

If I had one wish for this industry (amongst my long list😂)...

It would be for PTs to stop saying

'You just don't want it enough'

The above list is just a selection as well

Whatever reason you have for not being able to reach your goals, they can be worked around

Sometimes it might be a case that the goal you have, you actually don't want to achieve it - instead it might be what you think OTHERS want🫶

Life happens

Please don't let anyone, whether they're in the fitness industry or not, tell you, that because you're 'not hitting your goals' that you 'don't want it enough'

Because whatever it is, it can be worked around🫶

And if you find that is you, send me a message, I'd love to help you through it🫶

Just because your mindset changes, doesn't mean your routine has to🫶

There's actually freedom in going through the same routine as what you used to, but with a completely different outlook and mindset - this could be you!

If you find any of these relate to you, then send me a message, I'd love to have a chat!🫶

I'm not saying that this means it's 'easy' - because it definitely isn't

We're still human, we have our dips in consistency, which could last days or weeks!

BUT the barrier of that exercise environment is removed

Fitting it in between clients or before / after classes

When you have easier access to a gym than someone who works a different job or schedule, then that barrier is removed

So if you haven't got a job within a fitness space, then don't compare yourself to others anyway, but ESPECIALLY don't compare yourself to someone who works in that space🫶

(And of course, exercise doesn't have to be done in the gym🙌)

If you feel like you aren't being fully understood, and you can relate to what I said - you want to start your fitness journey but have no idea where to start, send me a message

I'd love to help you and help remove these barriers and work within your own routine and lifestyle🫶

Second Park Run✅

I love running (after I've done it😂)

It's the one thing that makes me mentally stronger, because it's me, in my own head, pushing myself to keep going

Proving to myself that I can do hard things🫶 (in the heat)

Push yourself out of your comfort zone

You can do hard things to🫶

And remember, exercise is WAY MORE than just aiming for aesthetics🫶

What a day for it as well, getting outside!

Do you want advice or to rant?

You can listen to someone without needing to give advice❤️

Sometimes people don't want advice and they just want to get things out - share the load and lighten the weight❤️

The above question can be so powerful

I remember when Nikki said it in one of our talks and it's one of the things that's stuck with me - I remember thinking 'wow, mega powerful!'

Sometimes it can actually prevent people from opening up, if they think they're going to be met with advice that they don't want❤️ (speaking from personal experience)

So next time someone wants to talk to you, ask them that question and see how it changes❤️

Remember, I'm here whether you want to rant or want advice🫶

I've exercised practically my whole life

Been in a gym since 13

But it's not until the last few years that I realized how I was exercising wasn't healthy💔

- Exercising as a punishment for calories consumed

- Exercising to 'earn' my food

- Exercising 6 days a week (sometimes twice a day or for hours at a time), because I felt guilty if I didn't exercise, or I missed a workout

- Exercising to burn a certain amount of calories

- Exercising on holiday purely for the reasons above

At this point I had such a negative relationship with myself, with food, and with exercise (although I didn't realize it)

I also had body dysmorphia (no surprise there)

I can now say when I exercise it's purely for:

- Enjoyment

- Performance

- Challenging Myself

- Improving Overall Mental Health

And I DO NOT feel guilty for missing a workout❤️

Makes me sad for my younger self for going through that but I also know we're stronger for it❤️

If you're in a similar spot to where I was - send me a message, I'd love to help you🫶
