Different day, same view. One more coat to apply and then onto the next wall. We are working hard to get Honey&Rose back up and running. Unfortunately we cannot make any new products until we are dust free and set up. Thank you for your patience.

Floor is finished, the holes in the old ceiling had been repaired and now onto the painting and a delivery of furniture for the new apothecary. It's getting exciting!

The workshop has lovely wooden floorboards and it's now time for a lovely, hole-free and white ceiling with exposed beams. Thank you for bearing with us as it's been a rather mammoth undertaking by my lovely husband. Next on the list is lighting, painting walls and woodwork, build a stud wall to divide this very large room and decide what to do with the old fireplace.

The new floor is progressing slowly but surely...I think it's clear that Honey&Rose won't be opening this summer. Thank you for your patience as this massive task is done by my amazing husband and my dad.

With a delay in new wood delivery and a few discoveries of extra work that needs to be done in the 'cellar', we are wee bit behind schedule. 🤷This is one side...the other side needs to be done next. We are excited as it will be a lovely space for Honey&Rose when it's all done. Thank you for your patience as we can't trade while the work is going on.

Why We do What we do

Honey&Rose is a home grown business in the quiet town of Thatcham in West Berkshire, UK. There is an ever growing need for ‘just natural’ ingredients and looking after ourselves and our environment. Honey&Rose specialises in Dry Skin Conditions and hand made skincare products that can be further tailor made to suit individual needs and allergies. We have a particular interest in the healing properties of plant based ingredients like herbs, essential oils and infused oils and butters.

We don’t use preservatives so our products have a shorter shelf life- minimum of a year, but we make it fresh for you. It isn’t that our products will go ‘off’ but the essential oils become less potent after a year at room temperature.

Our biggest sellers are the Honey&Rose Rescue Salve which has been called “a little pot of magic” by customers and we get a lot of positive feedback about this product; that it is the go to for all kinds of skin emergencies and also our Shampoo Soaps (which contain Argan oil and a blend of essential oils to condition skin and hair). Perfect for travelling!

Honey&Rose runs Skincare, Bath Bomb and Body Butter Workshops that have enabled many people to learn how to safely make their own skincare products at home for a fraction of the cost of well-known high street brands and without all the nasties that is often seen on ingredients lists.
