Most recently, Kayleigh provided compassionate end-of-life care to one of our long-standing clients. During this challenging time, she not only supported the client with dignity and care but also extended that same compassion to their family and her fellow colleagues.

People living with dementia can have symptoms which are visible to others, such as forgetfulness, irritability and confusion. But there are also a lot of symptoms that people can't see, such as anxiety, depression and overwhelm, to name but a few.

Sometimes this experience can be likened to an iceberg, as illustrated here, showing that what is visible is often only a small part of someone’s reality.

A Century of Kindness: In Loving Memory

We are deeply saddened to share that our dear client recently passed away, just after celebrating her 100th birthday. It was a privilege and an honour to be part of her journey.

We want to extend our sincerest thanks to our wonderful community for helping make her centenary truly special, over 100 heartfelt cards were received, each one a reminder of the love and care that surrounds us all. Your kindness lit up her final days, and meant the world to her and to us.

Our thoughts and warmest condolences are with her family at this time. May her memory continue to bring comfort, joy, and inspiration to all who knew her.
