A little whole food lunchbox inspo Simple, nourishing ingredients — no ultra-processed stuff, just real food that supports our bodies. I use dinner leftovers often, and every Sunday I prep a whole food sweet treat to freeze — no chemicals, artificial sweeteners, or emulsifiers. Just grab, pack, and it’s defrosted by lunchtime. Keep it simple.

Here’s what went in this week’s lunchboxes:

🥗 Slide 1
• Roast chicken thighs, potatoes & tomatoes
• Dark chocolate topped seedy flapjack
• Plums, nectarine, edamame, grated carrot

🍳 Slide 2
• Red pepper & courgette frittata
• Hummus, flatbread, grated carrot & red cabbage
• Dark choc chip cookie, raspberries, apricots

🥖 Slide 3
• Venison sausage rolls (honey mustard)
• Watermelon, blueberries
• Air popped popcorn with a drizzle of maple syrup & Celtic sea salt.
• Medjool date, dark choc, homemade flapjack
• Veggie sticks

🍝 Slide 4
• Lentil pesto pasta with tomatoes & peas
• Coconut yoghurt , carrot & pepper sticks
• Dark chocolate, cranberry & h**p seed puffed rice crispy cake
• Strawberries & mango

🍳 Slide 5
• Sourdough with chorizo & sunflower seeds
• Boiled egg, sugar snap peas and carrot sticks
• Organic chocolate bar
• Coconut yoghurt and fresh pineapple.

Which one would you pack for your family? Drop a comment or share your easy lunchbox favourites — I’d love to hear!

Your two greatest assets aren’t things — they’re health and time. One fuels the other. The better care you take of your body and mind, the more quality time you get in return. It’s not about perfection, just consistent choices that add up.

🌾 Slide 2
Brown rice pasta with edamames, lentils, tomatoes, olives & olive oil, sea salt popcorn, dark chocolate & seed crispy cake, melon, pomegranate & strawberries.

Egg mayo lettuce & tomato pita, mini corn, sugar snap peas & carrots, a dark chocolate muffin, Coco’s organic yogurt, grapes & kiwi.

💡 Why less UPF?
Ultra-processed foods are often stripped of fibre, loaded with additives, and linked to higher rates of inflammation, fatigue and metabolic issues. These boxes are full of minimally processed, nutrient-dense ingredients — supporting energy, digestion, focus, and mood.

🌱 Real food, real flavour, real benefits.
Which box are you reaching for first?

Just back from a fun (and full-on) half term with the family. We had plans to tour Scotland, but the weather had other ideas — so we packed up the tent box and headed south instead. It turned out to be just what we needed.

I’m constantly reminded how fast the kids are growing. They’re only little for such a short time, and I don’t want to miss it — or just get through it exhausted. That’s why I stay consistent with looking after my health.

As mums, it’s so easy to put ourselves last. But the truth is, we can’t show up properly for our families if we’re always running on empty. Too many of us are burning out trying to be everything to everyone.

It doesn’t have to mean green juices everyday and yoga retreats. Sometimes it’s just moving your body, stepping outside for five minutes, eating a real meal, or finding a quiet moment. The small things matter — and they add up.

One of my favourite reminders:
“If it’s a priority, we’ll make it happen. If not, we’ll make an excuse.”

We spend so much of our lives chasing after success, security, and status — in our work, in what we own, in how we’re seen. But in the background of it all is the one thing that makes any of it possible: our health.

It’s so easy to push it aside, thinking we’ll get to it later. But later has a way of catching up.

Make space for movement, rest, nourishment, and stillness. Your body carries you through every version of your life — it deserves to be looked after. 💛

It’s not about being perfect.

It’s about doing the best you can in a food system full of ultra-processed choices.

We’re not aiming for 100% clean—just better, more often.
Even the “healthier” options can come with hidden extras (hello, natural flavourings), but small swaps still add up.

These are just a few ideas to help you make more informed choices—without the overwhelm.
No guilt. No pressure. Just progress.

Which swap feels doable for you this week?

Toast topper inspo

If you hadn’t guessed, I love freshly bread sourdough, I also love it toasted the next day! So here are a few toppings that I use to help balance my blood sugar, keep inflammation down and increase gut loving fibre.

1. Caprese Salad 🍅🌿- silken tofu (or Mozzarella, if dairy is in your diet), with sliced tomato, basil leaves and drizzled with pesto

2. Hummus 🌶️ with kimchi and broccoli sprouts

3. Almond butter 🥝 with kiwi slices and sprinkled with cinnamon and h**p seeds.

4. Smashed avocado 🥑 with figs, feta (vegan or dairy) and sprinkled with nigella and sesame seeds.

What’s your favourite toast topping? Let me know in the comments ✨
