Just a quick message before the New Years Eve craziness kicks in…

🏠 Reasons for a Property Trust 🏠

As the recent article below shows, NOT using a Property Trust can result in children being disinherited when one person passes away... https://www.step.org/industry-news/mutuality-wills-cannot-be-recognised-absence-clear-proof-says-ewhc

Sadly "Accidental Disinheritance" is even more common.
If after a spouse has passed away the survivor re-marries, any Will they think they have in place is now null and void.
If the survivor fails to re-do their Will before they pass away, the new Spouse will receive the first £270,000 of the Estate and a further 50% of anything left over leaving only 50% of the remnants for the children to share. The initial figure is rising even further to £322,000 from tomorrow.

Today marks the first anniversary of the release of images from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). JWST was launched in December of 2021, and now orbits around a point in space about 1 million miles from Earth. In the year since its debut, the new telescope has delivered a tremendous amount of data, fueling many new discoveries, and revealing some spectacular new views of the universe around us.
