The home has its own extensive grounds and is surrounded by community allotments and playing fields, giving it a quiet, rural feel.

🌟 A wonderfully busy week at Parton House...

We’ve had a mega busy past week here at Parton House, with our residents getting involved in a fantastic mix of activities that brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition.

From “Match the Item” and taking part in Global Word Search Day, to enjoying classic card games, a fun fishing game, and some lively skittles, there’s been something for everyone. We also loved ending the week on a high with dancing and singing alongside our very own Parton House fairy — a feel-good session that had the whole room smiling!

It’s been brilliant to see everyone so engaged, social, and enjoying meaningful moments together. 💛

✨ A lovely trip down memory lane at Parton House Care Home ✨

This week, our residents were asked: “What fads do you remember from your youth?” — and the answers sparked some brilliant conversations, plenty of laughter, and a few nostalgic stories!

From home perms (and that unforgettable smell!) to watching rugby, it was wonderful hearing everyone’s memories and the little details that brought those moments back to life. 💛

Alongside the reminiscing, residents also enjoyed relaxing together with a game of cards and, of course, a classic game of bingo — always a firm favourite here at Parton House!

These shared moments are so important, helping to support wellbeing, connection, and a real sense of community. ❤️

🥂✨ Raising a glass to the final days of 2025 at Parton House ✨🥂

We’ve been spending the last couple of days of 2025 in the best way possible here at Parton — enjoying refreshing mocktails, sharing plenty of laughs, and taking time to simply enjoy each other’s company.

Our celebrations also included drawing the raffle, with lots of excitement as names were picked and prizes were won! 🎟️🎁

It’s been a lovely reminder that the most meaningful moments are often the simplest — good conversation, warm smiles, and time spent together as one big Parton House family.

🎄✨ A Wonderful Christmas...

We’ve had a truly lovely Christmas here at Parton House, filled with smiles, laughter and festive cheer. All of our residents enjoyed opening their gifts, sharing delicious treats, pulling crackers and, of course, laughing along to the jokes!

It was a joy to see everyone relaxed and happy, enjoying good company and making special Christmas memories together. Moments like these really capture the warmth and sense of family that we cherish so much at Parton House.

Thank you to our amazing team for helping make the day so special, and to our residents for making Christmas Day one to remember. ❤️

🎄✨ Festive fun has been in full swing at Parton House! ✨🎄

Our residents have enjoyed a wonderfully busy few days filled with creativity, laughter and Christmas cheer. From making festive hats and being crowned kings and queens for the day 👑, to decorating and enjoying individual Yule logs (which went down a treat! 🍰), there’s been plenty of smiles all round.

We’ve also loved taking time to reminisce together, chatting about favourite Christmas movies and sharing treasured festive memories 🎬❤️.

🎄✨ Getting into the Christmas Spirit...

It’s beginning to look (and feel!) a lot like Christmas at Parton House. Our home has been filled with festive cheer as residents and staff came together to decorate not just one, but several Christmas trees around the home.

From carefully placing baubles and tinsel to sharing plenty of laughter along the way, it’s been a wonderful reminder that decorating is just as much about the moments shared as the finished trees. And judging by the smiles in these photos, it looks like a few of our residents may have ended up just as decorated as the trees themselves! 🎁✨

Creating a warm, joyful atmosphere and making magical memories is what the festive season is all about here at Parton House. 💖

Our residents have been getting creative this week, making colourful paper chains to decorate the home for the festive season! 🎄❄️

The finished chains are now brightening up our lounges—and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone’s handiwork! ❤️

🎄 Festive Baking at Parton House! 🥧✨

Our residents have been busy getting into the Christmas spirit with a favourite seasonal tradition… making mince pies!

From spooning in the all-important mincemeat to topping each pie with a perfect pastry star, everyone enjoyed rolling up their sleeves and getting hands-on.

And of course, no mince pie session would be complete without the best part… tasting them, still warm, alongside a cosy cup of tea. ☕️❤️

A huge well done to our talented bakers — Christmas at Parton House is well and truly underway!

🎅✨ It’s beginning to look a lot like… BINGO! ...

We've been getting into the festive spirit with a joyful round of Christmas Bingo – and it was tree-mendously good fun! 🌲🎉

With cards full of holly, stockings, stars and snowmen, our players were feeling elf-ishly competitive as they dabbed their way toward that magical festive shout… “BINGO!” 🎁😉

We think our residents are on the nice list this year – they were absolute stars!
