🌿 Meet Emma Holly – Founder of Restore Scar Therapy 🌿
Behind Restore Scar Therapy is a woman whose heart and hands are dedicated to healing.
Emma Holly isn’t just a leading scar therapy specialist – she’s also a mum, a wife, and a proud fur mum who pours the same compassion she gives her family into her work helping others feel whole again.
Emma’s journey began with a simple belief: that scars are more than skin deep. After years working hands-on with clients, she saw how scarring could affect movement, confidence, and emotional wellbeing and she knew there had to be a better way to support recovery.
In 2017, Emma founded Restore Scar Therapy, combining her skills as a massage therapist with Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork fascial techniques to create a gentle, effective approach to healing. Her curiosity and care led her to explore other non-invasive therapies too – from negative pressure therapy (cupping) to kinesiology taping – always seeking new ways to make recovery accessible and empowering.
When lockdowns limited face-to-face treatments, Emma didn’t stop. She turned her focus to helping clients care for their own scars at home, developing self-scar care techniques and online learning for both clients and practitioners. Her drive to keep healing moving forward, no matter the challenge, is what defines her work.
Today, Restore Scar Therapy is the UK’s leading provider of scar therapy education, now expanding worldwide with talented tutors in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Emma’s passion for education and healing has taken her around the world, speaking at major international conferences including Scars2023 in Berlin, the Australasian Lymphology Symposium in Auckland, and the Association of Breast Surgery Conference 2024 in the UK.
✨ Whether she’s teaching therapists, supporting clients, or walking her dogs after a busy day, Emma’s goal remains the same – to help people restore confidence, comfort, and connection in their own skin.
💚 From one woman’s vision to a global movement in scar therapy, Emma continues to inspire and heal, one scar at a time.
