Definitely not a good idea to skip yoga. Still some spaces in classes. Do take a look.

Great to see some people back in classes who I have not seen for a while. Life gets too ‘lifey’ at times, but when it settles down, yoga is always there to go back to.

Still some places for those who block book or wish to dropin occasionally.

I call it 'permission to lie down', something people need help with.

Advanced yoga isn’t about how complex the pose looks — it’s about awareness, stillness, and mastery of the basics. True progress begins when strength meets calm and the mind learns to rest.

Looking forward to reconnecting on our mats next week. We all have poses which we like and others which we don’t, come and find out which yours are.

“Seen, supported… still suffering in chair pose.” 🧘‍♀️🔥

Very true

Yoga is a practice of presence, not perfection. It’s not about getting "good" at the poses or achieving the perfect form, but rather about showing up, being patient with yourself, and learning from your practice. It’s okay not to be flexible or strong right away, as yoga is about cultivating self-awareness and mindfulness, not competition.

This mindset encourages a deeper connection to your body and mind. Over time, yoga can help you develop strength, flexibility, and focus, but it’s the journey that matters most. Every time you step onto your mat, you’re making progress. It’s the consistency and intention behind your practice that makes it transformative.

Remember, yoga is about personal growth, self-care, and connection, not achieving an ideal. Keep practicing, keep learning, and honor your body at every stage of your journey. 🌱💫

Yes, bend the knees, why do people think they have to keep their legs straight in forward bends?

This time of year can quietly turn practice into another task to manage.
Another thing to stay on top of.
Another place to be “good”.

But yoga was never meant to compete with your life.

Some seasons ask for consistency.
Others ask for care.

If your practice feels smaller, quieter, or different right now, that doesn’t mean it’s failing.
It means it’s adapting.

Gentleness is not a lack of discipline.
It’s an intelligent response.
