⚽ Big News from Barnwood United Owls Pan-Disability Football! 🩵💜🦉

We’re delighted to announce that following our West Midlands Inclusion League grading matches earlier this month, we’ll be entering three teams into the league this season! 🙌

🔹 Barnwood Utd Owls U12
🔹 Barnwood Utd Owls Clarets U16
🔹 Barnwood Utd Owls Blues U16

This is a fantastic step forward and gives brilliant game-time opportunities for all our players. It also shows just how much we’ve developed as a club — creating pathways for Neurodiverse and Pan-Disability children to enjoy and thrive in football 🩵💜

Considering that last season we had just one U16 team (and our few U12s had to merge with another club), this really highlights how far we’ve come — both in player numbers and team development — since joining the Barnwood United family earlier this year 👏⚽

And a huge thank you goes to Chris Coward and the Barnwood United committee for giving us the platform and support to grow, thrive, and build something really special 🩵💜🦉

A massive well done to all our players, parents, and coaches — the season ahead looks amazing! Let’s go Owls! 🩵💜🦉⚽

Despite the rain 🌧️, we had a fantastic full turnout today — everyone trained brilliantly and gave it 100%! 💪🔥

The Barnwood Utd Owls U16s were flying high at the West Midlands Inclusion League Grading Day! 💜🩵

Six 5️⃣-minute matches packed with teamwork, determination, and great football — every player gave it their all 👏

The day was all about inclusion, effort, and progress, and the squad showed real spirit from the first whistle to the last 💪⚽

🦉 West Midlands Inclusion League – Grading Day

🦉Barnwood Utd Owls U12🦉

What a day for our Barnwood Utd Owls U12s at the West Midlands Inclusion League Grading Day! 💜🩵

Six fast-paced 5️⃣-minute matches full of energy, smiles, and teamwork — and for four players, it was their first ever competitive match! 🙌

It was also the first time we’ve proudly fielded a stand-alone U12 Barnwood team, without merging with another group — a huge step forward for our young Owls 👏

The focus today was all about enjoyment, inclusion, and development, and they absolutely delivered 🦉⚽

🚀 Comets blasted off this morning!
What a superb game of tails to start things off — everyone was super speedy, full of energy, and totally engaged! We then moved on to some excellent technical skills and shooting practice, with some absolutely smashing goals scored today!

🌟 Player of the Week: Theodore!
He was lightning-fast at catching those tails ⚡️ and kept a big smile on his face the whole session. Brilliant work!

This Sunday 5th October our U12 and U16 Owls will take part in the West Midlands Inclusion League grading matches at Birmingham FA HQ (Great Barr, B43 6JF).

📊 Both age groups will play 6 matches each as part of the grading round.
📌 After grading, each team will be placed into either the Premiership, Championship, or Division 1 leagues.

🦉💜🩵 We are incredibly proud of our U12 and U16 Owls, who will be spreading their wings in the West Midlands Inclusion League this season 🦉⚽

This is a fantastic step forward for the whole Barnwood United family.

We are proud to announce the forming of a 🆕 PAN Disability League within the West Midlands! ⚽

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 will house 72 teams across 7 divisions spanning across all ages. The league will provide a competitive opportunity for all disabled footballers across our county ✅

The league kicks off this weekend, and we wish the best of luck to all players, coaches, volunteers, and match officials 👏
