🦉 Barnwood United Owlets, part of the FA Comets Programme will be back on Sunday 7th September. The sessions will now be held at The Edge Community Centre.

Our pan disability programme is designed to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun environment where children and young people with disabilities can enjoy the beautiful game. Whether it’s kicking a ball for the very first time, making new friends, or building confidence through teamwork, every player is celebrated for who they are and what they bring to the pitch.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back and to see some new faces too💫

✨ Today we came together for our second training session with Barnwood Utd AFC Pan Disability Football 🩵🩷🦉

🦉 Owls U16 League Team
🦉 Owls U12 League Team

We were absolutely delighted to welcome four new children to the Barnwood family today – including two who joined us from our Owletts (Comets ☄️) programme! (who were completely amazing and settled in so well)

Despite the Busy Family Bank Holiday weekend it was truly inspiring to see 16+ children out on the pitch – playing, smiling, and enjoying football together in their groups 🙌💪

A huge thank you goes to Helena, Head of the Barnwood Utd AFC Disability Pathway, for keeping parents and coaches organised.

To our very own Mother Hen and Head Admin, Sally, and our fantastic coaching team – John, Nathan, and not forgetting our brilliant junior coaches Caleb and Kayden – your energy and commitment are what make days like this so special 🩵🩷

Most importantly, thank you to the children for their incredible effort, and to all the parents for ensuring they made it to training this morning 🌟⚽

No matter if it’s Bank Holiday weekend, Easter or Christmas, if there’s a need we will make football allways Available .

🎉 Congratulations to Coaches Leanne & Nathan! 🎉

We are thrilled to welcome and congratulate Coach Leanne and Coach Nathan for their fantastic achievements in this year’s Gloucestershire FA Disability Pathway Coach of the Year Awards! 🏆

👏 Leanne, who has recently joined our coaching team, was awarded Disability Coach of the Year 2025 🥇
👏 Nathan — our Adult Pan Disability player and U12 coach — proudly earned the Runner-Up (Highly Commended) spot 🥈

Both are now valued members of the Barnwood Utd AFC Pan Disability coaching setup, with:
🦉 Leanne leading the Owlets (FA Comets ☄️ Programme)
🦉 Nathan assisting with our U12 League Team
