Feeling all earth mother this morning eating sweet chestnut porridge with stewed spiced apple 🍏 both foraged by my pal & gifted at last weekends Nidra event ✨
🌰 Sweet chestnuts are packed with vitamins & antioxidants. They're also a great snack for helping manage blood sugar as they can help improve your insulin sensitivity - needed for storing sugar & getting it out of your blood.
As a herb it's also a natural expectorant - helping promote secretion in the air passages to clear coughs. All the more useful this time of year 🤧
