In September I started up a chiropractic clinic at Clandon Regis Golf Course near Guildford, assessing and treating their members.

We all learn in different ways and we all have different experiences.
You don’t need to follow someone else’s exact blueprint.
Yes we should ask questions and learn from others who have done things before us.
But just because that is how they did it doesn’t mean that’s how you should do it.
Listen, learn, understand and then do it in which ever way suits you best.
Something done is better than nothing done.
Take action.
Try.
If you fail, try again.

CHANGE

Change is hard.
We look at change via the lens of what we might lose or what we might have to give up.
But there comes a point where the fear of loss is less than the fear of staying in the exact same place month after month and year after year.
When the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change, only then will you make that much needed change or decision.
Don’t let it get so bad that you find yourself in this situation.
Be proactive and make better decisions for yourself starting from today.
Take that walk, eat that apple, do those push ups, practice that gratitude, go to bed a little earlier, don’t drink that glass of wine.
You can do this.

That’s a 14ft birdie put on the first at Hurtmore Golf Club last Friday! 🐦

Unfortunately it didn’t go in! 😣

That’s the thing about golf, when you trying to get better, you can have some amazing shots and some not so great ones, but at the end of the day just getting to spend 4hrs outside, enjoying the nature around you and striving to get better is what keeps us coming back for more! 🌲

Read that again.
Yes sometimes it might be difficult or take a while to get through it but it can be done.
Time and consistency are the keys seeing that change through.

On the 18th at Surrey Downs Golf Club ⛳️ in Tadworth, Surrey, a few weeks ago. It was windy which made it a bit difficult but it was a lovely course to play!

Even though the weather wasn’t great, being outside for four hours on a Sunday and moving my body walking round the course was a great way to spend an afternoon.

I definitely needed an adjustment after that round though!

Each day we have so many choices in life.
Some big, some small.
In the big choices, it’s easy to see how choosing one thing might help us and another might harm us.
But in the small choices, we often don’t realise that they all add up.
Yea sure you might not feel too different after one small slip up, but 30? Definitely.
Build the discipline each and every day to choose the things you want, the things that your future self will thank you for.
What do you want?
Make a choice. Stick with it. You can change.
