Please do vote for us and other local businesses that you love

We thank you for your participation

The Benefits of Micromax
It would be no exaggeration to say that healthy gut bacterial are absolutely central to both physical and psychological health, but modern lifestyles—including poor diets, antibiotics, and C-sections—have significantly reduced our gut diversity.

Most therapists recommend pro and prebiotics, however, as there are up to a trillion microorganisms per gram of intestinal contents, with up to 2kg of gut flora in total, their impact is limited.

MicroMax® is a naturally fermented live gut reconditioning probiotic supplement that helps to optimise the bacterial population in the gastrointestinal tract. The result is a probiotic action unlike conventional freeze-dried varieties. It supplies antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and other nutritional components, as well as supporting digestion, nutrient absorption, immunity, metabolism, our nervous system, psychological wellbeing and even memory. It can also be used externally where bacteria play vital roles in keeping us healthy.

So forget probiotics and prebiotics: if you really want optimal health, Micromax® is the way to go.

Available on our website and in our shop, we ship all over the UK.

Did you know that this year we celebrate our 25th birthday.
In anticipation of this, last year, we started reaching out to local schools and businesses with the aim of really celebrating and expanding our place within the community; nurturing and empowering, sharing our knowledge, and imparting wellbeing skills and the confidence to thrive.

This year we have loved brainstorming ideas and arranging some inspiring events.

Most recently, Natalie Diamond cognitive hypnotherapist & NLP coach with a special interest in the neurodiverse community, created an uplifting workshop on our behalf at the request of Prior’s Field school.

Natalie’s inspiring workshop, *The Confidence Toolkit*, encourages students and staff to trust their voices, step beyond their comfort zones, and embrace their authentic selves.

Natalie delivered two sessions, which included live demonstrations, breathwork, how we talk to our brain, recognising and changing negative self-talk, using positive language, the confidence bubble and growth mindset.

If you’re planning an event and would like a speaker, or represent a group interested in learning more about health and wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you. Our sessions cover topics that truly matter to health and wellbeing.

We would love to get an appointment in the diary to find out what health or wellbeing concerns you have

Coming up next month at Surrey Holistic, Godalming

Homoeopathy self-prescribing course with the amazing Vinciane Ollington

Date/time: 23rd May

Price: £75

DM, email or head to our website to book this course - it normally sells out very quickly.

How often are you faced with your child in poor health but you do not want to give him/her too much medicine as you instinctively know that pharmaceuticals are not good for overall health?
What do you do take if your periods are too painful or to relieve your symptoms of PMT?
Have you got a magic recipe for hangover that does not involve coffee or more alcohol?
What do you do if you start feeling unwell and you have a important work meeting the next day?

With GPs being overworked and not offering the personal service given by the family doctor of bygone days, and with the NHS being mainly a dispensing channel for pharmaceutical drugs, it is now more and more your responsibility to be in charge of yours, and/or your family’s health.

Wholesome food, natural supplements and a loving home environment are an excellent start but not always sufficient to prevent or cure disease.

Attending Vinciane Ollington’s Homeopathy self-prescribing course will allow you to prescribe with confidence for ailments ranging from cough, colds, fever, sore throat, flu and earache to cystitis, menstruation problems, digestive upsets and much more, thus minimising discomfort and avoiding a visit to the doctor and probable recourse to allopathic drugs.

Please note that a kit with 42 remedies can be purchased on the course.

Thursday 9th April 19:30-20:30
£25 or £35 for 2 sessions

Join Coach and Sound Therapy Teacher Becky (from Heron Moon) and her beautiful sound healing instruments (including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gong, drum, chimes and more) for an immersive sound session (aka a SOUNDBATH) every third Thursday at Surrey Holistic, 7-8pm, in Godalming.

What to expect

A warm welcome
Guided meditations
Oracle cards
Themes, such as Wheel of the Year and Moon Phases
Tea and chat to close
What to bring

Something comfortable to lie on, e.g.yoga mat, camping mat etc
Warm, cosy blanket
Comfy clothes, including socks
Eye pillow/or mask (optional)
Your crystals for charging (optional)
Anything else you need to create your own little rest nest
What happens in a group sound healing session?

You lie on the ground, on a yoga mat (or you may sit up, or use a chair if you prefer)

You create a cosy little ‘rest nest’ with pillows, cushions, bolsters, blankets, warm socks and perhaps a cover for your eyes. You are then guided to relax and let go via spoken meditation. The sound ‘bath’ commences shortly after. There will be periods of silence too, which encourages integration. The ‘healer’ will attempt to ‘overload’ the brain by using random sequences and different techniques, which stimulates a ‘letting go’ to allow the receivers in the room to sink deeper.

In many cases, sound bathers experience better rest than they have had in a long time. People often also enjoy beautiful visions, colours, geometric shapes and patterns. They have realisations and breakthroughs – it is not unusual to encounter deeper understanding of a situation they have been battling with. It is also perfectly normal to drift in and out of sleep!

Many feel a connection to celestial, spiritual, divine or other worlds, which can be incredibly comforting. Also, each and every sound session will be different from the one before.

The best way to find out more is to experience it for yourself!
